The abseiling experience is a half day outdoor adventure suitable for participants with little or no previous experience. All abseiling equipment is supplied as well as highly trained abseiling instructors to ensure your adventure is safe, fun and exhilarating.

In one of Australia's best- known abseiling locations, you'll experience the Blue Mountains from a very unique perspective.

This experience takes place in Katoomba, part of the Blue Mountains.

Session Length

This experience is approximately 4 hours. Arrive at 8.45 for a 9am start!

Guidelines:

All specialist abseiling equipment is provided. If you have your own equipment and wish to use it feel free to bring it along. This activity is physically low impact – If you can walk up a flight of stairs you can participate in this adventure.

Numbers:

Group sizes are approximately one instructor for every five or six participants.

Weather:

Sometimes prolonged wet weather may require postponing this activity but remember the weather in the mountains can be very different to that in Sydney. If in doubt, ring our wet weather number on the day (will be supplied at time of booking).

Other Info:

Please bring or wear the following clothing; shorts, long pants, warm sweater or fleece jacket, T-shirt, sun hat, rain jacket. Footwear such as running shoes, or lightweight hiking boots are ideal. Also feel free to bring a daypack, water bottle, sun-cream, camera (optional).
