This canyoning and abseiling NSW adventure in a spectacular way to see the Blue Mountains! Led by professional guides in the world's best adventure environment, you will combine water jumps, subterranean swims and waterfall abseils, all set against a stunning Lost World backdrop!
This World Heritage area boasts the most extensive wet sandstone canyoning system on earth. This one day abseiling and canyoning adventure in the Blue Mountains is the ideal way for beginners to experience this amazing landscape in an introductory adventure.
Learn the skill of abseiling in the morning with your experienced guides - a great adventure on its own - and then take off to abseil, trek and explore a canyon, experiencing water jumps and subterranean swims.

Session Length
One full day from around 9.00am to 5.30pm. Canyoning and abseiling adventures run seven days a week from the October 1 to April 30, subject to availability. Please note: your start time will be confirmed at time of booking.
Guidelines:
Suitable for participants 12 years of age or older. All specialist abseiling and canyoning equipment is provided. This activity is physical. You need to be able to swim at least 25 meters and walk up steep steps for 20 minutes.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. Group sizes are approximately one instructor for every four or five participants.
Spectators:
Not suitable for spectators.
Weather:
In the event of poor weather conditions your experience will be rescheduled.
Other Info:
Participants should plan to arrive at the Paddy Pallin Adventure Centre by 9am. If you are running late please make every effort to call our office. A wholesome lunch and refreshments are supplied. We'll provide you with a wetsuit. Don't forget to bring a daypack, water bottle, suncream, camera.

Instructors were very experienced & safety was a major concern with all practice & the actual abseil. A unique experience abseiling down the waterfall.

This experience was amazing!!! The guides were so supportive and helpful especially to my partner and i who are both terrified of heights! The day went to quickly and we would both highly recommend the experience to others! Our only negative feedback we had related to the waterfall- we were not educated about what to do if we got stuck upside down (which happened to others, thank goodness not us!).

Our abseiling and canyoning day was awesome. Our instructions were really friendly and knowledgeable which really made a difference. It would be great if this could be passed on to the tour guides - their names were Alex and Stewart.

It was very good - the trainer Jacindy was very calm and encouraging. The only negative was that we were not told in advance what clothes and 'stuff' to bring with us....but apart from that it was fantastic and very well organised

Brilliant day out and very good guides. Perhaps some more detailed info on clothes etc to take as it is important that you take the right gear in order not to freeze!

This was a fantastic experience for anyone who has never been abseiling before. Our guide, Rachel, was very helpful and patient teaching us how to abseil. Canyoning was a beautiful and amazing experience and abseiling down the waterfall was a fantastic way to end the day. For anyone who has ever wanted to give this a try, I highly recommend it. Even though it was raining and a little bit cold, it was totally worth it.

Great experience, but as a 63 yr old, I would have a preferred an abseil where we kept going down at end. eg. a car pick up at bottom, not a steep climb to car.

The canyoning and abseiling adventure was a great day out. It was well organised which enabled everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The two guides were sensational, they new their stuff and made us all feel that we were in good hands. The canyoning was exceptional, awesome scenary and an experiance i hope to do again soon. I would thoroughly recommend this adventure.

Words cannot describe how professional our guide Rachel was. Her attention to detail in terms of our safety had me absailing with confidence like I'd done it a million times before. It was the best experience I've had in a long time and I would highly recommend it. The canyon was spectacular, it was like untouched land, just beautiful.

I was extremely happy with my experience. It was my boyfriends birthday and the original canyoning trip was cancelled due to water levels being too high. But the team arranged a private abseiling adventure for us which was just amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

The day was unreal! the place was so beautiful and the waterfall was the scariest but most fun thing I have ever done! The instructors are also great make you feel very comfortable

Steve our guide was just lovely..he made us feel totally welcome and supported throughout the whole day. The experience was awesome ...we would never have imagined that we could achieve what we did. The blue mountains is possibly one of the most beautiful places in the world and we found the people just so friendly and warm.
