Make those childhood moments stand still with a children's and family portrait session in Sydney. Tell the story of your child, children or family through a series of emotive, artistic portraits that show innocence, curiosity and wonder! Includes a 60 minute portrait session and a mounted print.

Every child and family is different - cute, cheeky, shy, beautiful - but the one thing they have in common is how fast they change! Weeks become months, months become years, and children become teenagers before you know it. By having children’s portraits done, you’ll secure your memories and you’ll be able to re-live these moments for years to come.

Before your portrait session, we’ll have a brief telephone design consultation with you. Together we’ll plan your portraits with you - what clothes work best, the location, and what style of portraits would best suit your home. This way, you’ll receive the portrait experience you deserve, and we’ll deliver just what you’re after! We'll also reserve your portrait session date and your viewing appointment during this consultation.

Your viewing appointment at our homely studio will be an exciting and emotional experience. Tissues are on hand, as our beautiful portraits will probably bring a tear to your eye! Here we help you select your favourite images, and discuss which ones you’d like to own and how best to present them.

Your finished portraits will show the individual personality of your children and the family, the characters and relationships in an insightful way - filled with beauty, emotion and love - and will be yours to enjoy for a lifetime!

Please Note: This experience includes one mounted 7x10in (18x25cm) portrait. Additional images from your portrait session are available to purchase, and prints range from $185 to $990 for some of our large wall canvases and framed portraits. Unfortunately we do not offer digital files.

Venue:

Your portraits can be taken outdoors at a natural location, or even in your own home and backyard! We capture a huge variety of images so you have a great selection to choose from. We will travel up to 15km from our studio in Coogee - locations outside of this area incur an additional travel fee.

Session Length

We offer children's portrait sessions from Monday - Saturday, depending on availability and existing bookings. This experience consists of one telephone consultation, a 30-60 minute photography session and one viewing experience up to 1.5 hours.

Guidelines:

This children's portrait session makes a beautiful gift for any family. You can also give finished portraits to relatives!

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one family (up to 5 people). E.g. 1 child, or multiple children individually and together. We will photograph your child or children, as well as the grown-ups, if you wish.

Spectators:

We recommend a private experience for you and your child or children only. By making sure there are no outside distractions for your children, we can ensure you receive the highest quality images from your portrait session.

Weather:

If you have chosen an outdoor venue for your portrait session, we may have to reschedule or relocate in the case of bad weather. Please Note: If it is simply cloudy we will still go ahead - overcast light makes for GORGEOUS portraits!

Our studio photographers are all accredited members of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and we operate from a multi award-winning studio. We do not have any maximum or minimum order, nor do we have any high-pressure sales people. We just want you to love your portraits!
