Do an advanced car control course and take charge on the road! This training course is designed to keep you in control, teaching advanced dynamics theory, highway speed emergency actions and so much more. This is 'high end' vehicle control skills - so bring your car down and let's ride!

Experience a driver training course that is designed for drivers who want to take their driving skills to the highest level. The Advanced Car Control Course gives you the opportunity to push a little harder, learn more technical and advanced vehicle dynamics, and explore ‘high end’ vehicle control skills at the critical limit, but in a safe and non-threatening environment.

During the advanced car control course, you can expect to cover the following topics:

  • An in depth analysis of the physical skills; seating, steering, vision, braking, accelerating and the use of transmission,
  • Advanced vehicle dynamics theory
  • Practical advanced vehicle dynamics
  • Highway speed emergency braking for both ABS and non ABS
  • Highway speed emergency corner braking in both wet and dry
  • Evasive lane changes
  • Understeer / oversteer causes, control, and prevention, and
  • Emergency multiple direction changes.

This course requires concentration and commitment right up to the last minute, but best of all its great fun!

Please Note: You will be required to bring your own vehicle on the day.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

This experience takes place at Airport West.

Session Length

Courses are conducted approximately every 6 – 8 weeks and are usually held on a Saturday or Sunday. This is a full day course, commencing at 8.30am and finishing at approximately 4pm. Please book in advance. All bookings are subject to availability.

Guidelines:

You must provide your own vehicle and hold a current driver’s license (a provisional license is okay) which must be brought on the day of your experience.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be up to 20 people in the classroom sessions and up to 10 drivers per practical driving group.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

In extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain, we may be required to cancel the experience. In the event that your experience is cancelled, we will reschedule for a later date. Please call the supplier to confirm that status of the training day if you are in any doubt regarding the weather.

Other Info:

You will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to participating in the practical component of the course. Tea or coffee is provided throughout on the day. Please bring your own lunch.

    Well organised, good fun. Would be great if it could include a short track lapping session. Even at the police training in attwood.

    It was a really great day, I learnt a lot about my driving skills and my car. Smaller groups sizes would have been great so that we got to test the skills a few more times. Overall it was a great day and the instructors were excellent!
