A day of performance driver training in your own car is sure to get your blood pumping like never before! Under expert instruction you'll take the racing line and drive around some of Queensland's iconic race circuits, such as Queensland Raceway or Lakeside at unrestricted speeds!

Ever wanted to drive your own car on one of Australia's famous race circuits? Now you can race around Queensland Raceway or Lakeside for the ultimate high speed driving experience!

Your performance driver training track day begins with a sign in, where you complete some registration forms and necessary paperwork. You will be delivered a safety briefing and guided through a performance driving lecture by our Chief Instructor and five-times Australian Champion, Paul Stokell, before an initial on-track reconnaissance beside one of our professional driving coaches

During this inspection of the track you'll be shown the correct racing line and driving techniques before being let loose to practice! The day will be divided into 20-30 minute driving sessions of similarly experienced drivers and cars. Depending on the capabilities of your car, you may reach speeds of 180-230km/h!

You can expect to have at least two hours of track time with access to our team of driving instructors for some one-on-one training and tuition to ensure you get the most out of your drive day!

Please Note: You must hold a valid driver's licence which must be brought with you on the day. Please ensure the brakes on your car have been recently bled, have preferably high temp fluid and performance brake pads fitted. If using standard road tyres, please inflate to approximately 10-15 PSI above the manufacturer's recommended pressure.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

This experience can be taken at either Ipswich, Kurwongbah in Brisbane or Morgan Park Raceway” to “This experience can be taken at either Queensland Raceway (near Ipswich), Lakeside Motorsport Park (Kurwongbah, north of Brisbane) or Morgan Park Raceway (Warwick).

Session Length

Driver training takes place on selected dates throughout the year and is a full day in duration, from 8.30am - 4pm. Please arrive at 8am for sign in. Bookings are essential and we recommend you book well in advance to secure your preferred date.

Guidelines:

You must hold a current driver's licence - L and P-plates are fine. It is essential that you bring your licence with you on the day. If you have a manual car you must be competent using a manual transmission. You must be drug and alcohol free, otherwise we reserve the right to refuse participation.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a maximum of 30 people on the day.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome at a cost of $25 per person - payable directly to the supplier. This will entitle them to lunch and refreshments. Please advise the supplier at the time of booking if you would like to bring spectators on the day.”

Weather:

Drive days are generally not affected by adverse weather conditions however in the case of extreme weather we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule your driver training for another suitable date. In the event of a cancellation you'll be contacted directly by the supplier.

Other Info:

You’ll be required to complete an indemnity form prior to participating in the experience. You'll have full access to our team of experienced instructors and motor racing identities, and enjoy a BBQ lunch, tea/coffee and refreshments. It is essential that you have a well serviced car.
