Main Description

John Bowe is one of Australia’s most admired race drivers, with Australian championships in open-wheelers and V8 sedan racing. He is only one of 5 drivers with over 200 starts in V8 Touring Cars and V8 Supercars and as a 3 x Bathurst 1000 winner, "JB" is regarded as one of the genuine good guys of the sport.

John will drive you at top speed around the track, but not before you’ve spun several laps yourself!

What a great way to find out just how much skill and sheer nerve is required in this sport. Drive with the master - an unbelievable day!

Please note: This experience is only available on selected days at Sandown Raceway Raceway between 12:00pm - 5:00pm.

Guest Allowance: Space is limited, strictly 1 guest per participant (includes seat, lunch and afternoon tea).

We suggest you only purchase a voucher for one of the dates listed above if you plan to redeem your voucher and book the date today.

Guidelines:

You must be 18 years of age or older and hold a P-Plate license as a minimum requirement. All participants must be drug and alcohol free. A 130kg maximum weight restriction applies, our largest race suit is XXXXL. A V8 automatic Holden is available for drivers who don't hold a manual license.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome and are admitted to the track at no charge. One person can attend the lunch with you free of charge, and a 2nd and 3rd can come along for $55 each. You can bring your own food and snacks for the remaining times. No animals or alcohol are permitted.

Weather:

To ensure your safety, your drive may incur delays due to poor weather conditions. We give you a number to call if it is raining prior to you leaving home; a recorded message is left from 7am advising track and weather conditions.

Other Info:

All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver upon entering the track and participants only will also sign an indemnity form prior to driving. In the event of an accident you will be liable to cover the first $3000 towards the repair costs of the car.
