Main description
Your V8 race car drive day begins as you register at our reception prior to your pre-drive tuition. This will prepare you for driving a race prepared V8 race car with information on handling the car, cornering, braking and the track map. You are then ushered to pit lane and fitted with your own race suit and helmet.
Prior to your drive, you'll be asked whether you would prefer an automatic or manual, Ford or Holden to drive! You are then strapped in behind the wheel, introduced to your personal in-car coach and off you go for your drive of a lifetime! Through an intercom system built into the helmets, your in-car coach will encourage you through your drive with advice on gear changes and brake points so that you can drive fast and safely. While not a race, there are no limits on speed and overtaking is common during this thrilling drive experience!
You can choose to purchase a Super Photo Souvenir and In-Car digital video recording with telemetry on a USB stick on the day for $49 each.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length
This is a 2-3 hour event which includes your briefing and drive. Our race days are held throughout the year on the available dates listed below. We only operate on set race dates during the year.

Guidelines:
You must be over 18 years of age and hold a P-Plate license as a minimum requirement. All participants must be drug and alcohol free. A 130kg maximum weight restriction applies, our largest race suit is XXXXL. A V8 automatic Holden is available for drivers who don't hold a manual license.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. Your briefing will be held in a group of approximately 20-25 people. Your drive experience is one-on-one with a personal in-car coach.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome and are admitted to the track at no charge. Cameras and recorders can be used at all times excluding during the driver’s briefing. You can bring your own food and snacks. No animals or alcohol is permitted.
Weather:
To ensure your safety, your drive may be postponed due to poor weather conditions or rescheduled for a later date. Please call the supplier if it is raining prior to you leaving home. A recorded message is left from 7am advising track and weather conditions.
Other Info:
All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver upon entering the track and participants only will also sign an indemnity form prior to driving or hot laps. In the event of an accident you will be liable to cover the first $3000 towards the repair costs of the car.

I think the coach should discuss the driving ability with the customer to try and assess their driving ability. I found my coach was restrictive but I can understand that all the drivers are at different levels.

The V8Race experience was fantastic. Staff and coaches were very professional and could not speak highly enough of. Unfortunely my driving let me down. Over all a fantastic day. Have too it again, after all practice makes perfect.

Absolutely amazing. These guys are so well organised that we never had to wait for anything - a truly great experience. And the 7 laps were great - first time I ever drove a racing car, but I'll definitely try to go back for more at some stage...

Great experience. But 7 laps was not long enough - I was just getting the hang of it and it was all over. I will have to start saving for the next one. It would have been good to see - have a record of - the lap times so as to see improvement from start to finish or otherwise

The day was bigger than I expected with the number of staff and racing cars, the briefing helped me a lot with the cornering part and the coach was excellent with his guidance and picked up on my bad driving habits Keep Both Hands on the wheel. The drive was mind blowing and I will remember this experience for a long time and I have the video to show it did happen.

Tony, my instructor was great in fact all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved my 6 laps drive around Winton in a Holden (of course) and would and already have recommended the experience to all my rev head mates. I'm ready to go again and after this first experience will push a bit harder next time. Also, the merchandise is great and a great variety. I want to relive my 60th birthday again so I can get another V8 Race Car gift voucher.

Overall experience was fantastic. Just maybe a couple of laps to get to know the car first before 7 laps. Helpful car coach. Best experience did not want it to end.

The experience was totally awesome. If they really wanted to make some coin they should offer the option of actually lining up and racing your mates. I for one would pay big bucks to do that. My dad and I had an absolute ball. The brakes on those cars was amazing and they turn like they are on rails.
