Experience this exhilarating V8 race car driving event where you actually get to DRIVE a V8 race car on a championship race track This experience combines 7 driving laps with 4 hot laps at an International Raceway. This is the ultimate V8 race package.

Main description
Your V8 race car drive day begins as you register at our reception prior to your pre-drive tuition. This will prepare you for driving a race prepared V8 race car with information on handling the car, cornering, braking and the track map. You are then ushered to pit lane and fitted with your own race suit and helmet.
Prior to your drive, you'll be asked whether you would prefer an automatic or manual, Ford or Holden to drive! You are then strapped in behind the wheel, introduced to your personal in-car coach and off you go for your drive of a lifetime! Through an intercom system built into the helmets, your in-car coach will encourage you through your drive with advice on gear changes and brake points so that you can drive fast and safely. While not a race, there are no limits on speed and overtaking is common during this thrilling drive experience!
Once you have completed the driving component its time to complete 4 hot laps. You will be strapped into the back seat of a specially designed V8 race car. A professional race driver will have you traveling at ridiculous speeds while talking you through the experience via an intercom fitted helmet.
You can choose to purchase a Super Photo Souvenir and In-Car digital video recording with telemetry on a USB stick on the day for $49 each.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Guidelines:
You must be 18 years of age or older and hold a P-Plate licence as a minimum requirement. All participants must be drug and alcohol free. A 130kg maximum weight restriction applies, our largest race suit is XXXXL. A V8 automatic Holden is available for drivers who don't hold a manual licence.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. Your briefing will be held in a group of approximately 20-25 people. Your drive experience is one-on-one with a personal in-car coach, for the hot laps you will be in the car with 2 other participants.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome and are admitted to the track at no charge. Cameras and recorders can be used at all times excluding during the driver’s briefing. You can bring your own food and snacks. No animals or alcohol is permitted.
Weather:
To ensure your safety, your drive may be postponed due to poor weather conditions or rescheduled for a later date. Please contact the supplier if it is raining prior to you leaving home. A recorded message is left from 7am advising track and weather conditions.
Other Info:
All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver upon entering the track and participants only will also sign an indemnity form prior to driving. In the event of an accident you will be liable to cover the first $3000 towards the repair costs of the car.

The team at Mallala were the most fantastic I have ever encountered. Would you please pass that on to them. I have never enjoyed myself as much as i did on the day. My wife and I intend to do it again one day and i am going to shout our son to it to in the near future. Thoroughly enjoyable for both myself and spectating family members, who are able to get close to pit area, and see which vehicles you are in. Profesional drivers polite and very helpful, with your safety being paramount. Highly recommend this and will certainly go again.

Was a great afternoon, would love to have him go again, only bummer was not getting a lap time at the end. Would have been nice to see if he improved after a few laps and some confidence! He was shaking with adrenaline when he finshed so I know he enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks so much!

The only negative feedback would be that there are probably too many cars on the track at the one time, therefore getting held up by slower traffic which eats into your laps. Great cars, great track and great fun though.

Reason: total respect for the difference between a purpose built racing car and a slightly modified production vehicle. If one was to come unstuck whilst driving one of these V8 cars, the personal injury would be minor compared to a similar street accident. With all the on board safety features I had little or no fear; my only concern was not meeting my own ...After the 7 lap drive and the 4 lap back seat ride; I drove back home (in my V8 Ute) at a very steady pace; which is normally not the case. Reason: total respect for the difference between a purpose built racing car and a slightly modified production vehicle. If one was to come unstuck whilst driving one of these V8 cars, the personal injury would be minor compared to a similar street accident. Awesome day. To drive or be driven in a V8 Super Car is totally unique. If you watch the V8's you do not appreciate them and the Drivers until you have been in one. Better than any fun park ride by a mile. A must for any one that likes their driving or anyone that just wants some exhilaration.

The V8 Racing was so well organised, with numbered signs clearly directing us where to go and how to get myself into the car and on the track. With exactly right amount of safety briefs and procedures I felt very safe without being smothered, and very comfortable even though I had done nothing of the sort before in my life. The staff were friendly and helpful, the experience was exhilarating and I have already booked a few of my friends in for their birthdays. Six out of five stars!

My coach (shane) was great, very patient and talked me through my laps encourageing me and helpng me improve my driveing lap by lap. My only regret was the time went way to fast and I could have driven laps all day. Thank you RedBalloon for a memorable morning, I am now looking forward to my next V8 experience.

My husband absolutely loved the experience. The only suggestion he would make is to have the laps with the racing car driver first, before having to drive yourself, to allow you to see what the car could do. He felt this would have made the laps he drove more fun.

Both the driving laps and the hot laps were awesome and more fun and excitement than I ever imagined they could be. The only thing I would have changed is I would have liked to do the hot laps first to know what could be achieved on the driving laps. It was an amazing day. The only thing I found hard was the fact that it was only 7 laps. You spend 5 laps acclimatising yourself to the car and just as you get into the groove of what you are doing, with the aid of your coach, it is all over. The only thing I would recommend would be a 10 lap drive session.
