Take a Havilland Tiger Moth flight in Melbourne and indulge in something different! Enjoy unsurpassed views over Williamstown or Werribee, then be thrilled by the art of aerobatic flight in the Tiger Moth with gentle loops, rolls and spins - feel that vintage engine go like the clappers!

It's just like taking a step back in time when you fly in our beautifully restored 1942-model Tiger Moth. Enjoy the freedom of the open cockpit in this aerobatic flight over Williamstown or Werribee. You'll be sitting in the front seat of the plane and your pilot will be sitting behind you.

Please note: You and any spectators who are over 14 years of age MUST have photo ID to enter the airfield on the day, however spectators can be of any age.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

A 20 minute drive from Melbourne.

Session Length

We operate every weekend, but can arrange weekday flights if that is the only day available to you. Your flight will be approximately 30 minutes in duration, from engine start to engine stop.

Guidelines:

Minimum age is 5 years. Maximum weight 120kg, and max height 6ft6

Numbers:

1 person. 1 passenger per flight, up to 20 flights a day.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome. Anyone over 14 years must present photograph ID on entry into the Point Cook Airfield, however spectators can be of any age. Picnic and club house facilities available including indoor and outdoor seating.

Weather:

This experience is weather permitting, we do not fly in rain or strong winds. If this weather does occur on the day of your flight you will contacted and rescheduled to another day. All weather decisions are made on the day of the flight, not before.

Our Pilots are highly experienced airline pilots with Australia's major International airline and all flights are conducted with the highest degree of professionalism and safety.

A great experience!! I felt fully confident in the flying ability of my pilot David. On the coldest morning of the year so far it took a while to hand swing the prop and start the engine. David was keeping warm whilst I was not! Once airborne I forgot the cold wind as we looked at the city of Melbourne from the air. The last ten minutes of the flight were spent going through the aerobatics routine.What an experience!!

This was a great experience the pilot was very helpful and made sure I was comfortable and secure then we had the flight that was amazing, I recommend this flight to everone I had a grin on my dial for hours afterwards.

The last time I flew in a Tiger Moth was nearly 60 years ago. I've often wondered what it would be like to do it again. It was better than I could have ever expected. The flying was exhilarating, and the aerobatics beyond my wildest expectations. I was treated as a "very special customer", and that is something a person of my age rarely enjoys these days. I look forward to repeating the experience.

I don't think that the flight would ever be long enough, it was brilliant, pilot was excellent he handles the old girl like a star, he was also very informative. It must be one the worst jobs in the world, ha ha
