Experience the ultimate flying experience – formation and aerobatic flying in a genuine vintage tiger moth aircraft. Formation and aerobatic flying is sure to make even the most experienced pilots say 'WOW' - it's a rare and exciting insight into how flying used to be in the early 1940’s.

During your exciting tiger moth formation flight you and your friend will be flying side by side. You get to see and watch what is happening in the aircraft next to you, as well as experience all the thrills yourself!

For the duration of the flight you will be sitting in the front seat of the aircraft and your pilot will be seated behind you. Take off is done in unison and then you fly over the beautiful Burragorang Valley area – for the adventurous aerobatics are included – one aircraft performs the loops and rolls whilst the other watches and then vice versa, you then get to rejoin and return to land together.

Venue:

Camden Airport – approximately 60-90 minutes from Sydney CBD - NSW.

Session Length

Allow approximately 60 minutes for the total experience which includes 15 minutes preparation time – 30 minutes flight time and then 10 – 15 minutes at the end of flight for photos etc. Flights are available from 7am - 5pm, everyday (excludes Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day).

Guidelines:

There is a minimum age 15 years and a maximum weight 115 kg. A camera is ok but please bring a strap to attach it to your wrist. We ask customers to sign a flight form that gives us their name address and phone number. The passenger is fully insured for the duration of the flight.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people.

Spectators:

All spectators are very welcome and will be escorted to an area on the tarmac where they can watch you take-off and land.

Weather:

Clear, calm conditions are needed. We cancel in strong wind and adverse conditions. If in doubt please ring before leaving home. If cancelled we will re-schedule at a time to suit the customer. Minimum of 24 hours is required to reschedule otherwise a 25% cancellation fee may be charged.
