Spend 1 hour in Perth's amazing flight simulator! This experience takes you through skies anywhere in the world after just a short briefing. Use realistic levers and lights to take off, land in an exotic location, and apply all the skills required from pilots. Be prepared - lives are at stake!
After a briefing on how to fly a Boeing 737, you'll be strapped into the captain’s seat, feet planted on the rudder pedals, right hand clamped to the thrust levers and your left hand steady on the control column.
Listen out for permission from Air Traffic Control - this is the true experience! You'll take your massive plane flying down the runway reaching top speed, climb to 2000ft then take that huge 45° turn planes need to do at height near airports.
Given a second, you can look out at the stunning scenery when you start flying flat. From here you manage speeds, altitude, and 'watch your heading'. Be aware of other aeroplanes using amazingly realistic screens and gadgets.
Your destination awaits you, and whether you’ve chosen your local airport, an international hub airport or a white-knuckle approach. This is serious business - all the training you've just done will be needed as you attempt your first ever landing.
This experience is similar to the simulators used to train commercial pilots. Surrounding screens and cockpit environment let you become totally immersed in the environment. Realistic sound and cooling systems and even a vibrating seat create an ultra-realistic experience.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Venue:
This experience is just 2km from the Perth CBD.
Session Length
This experience is 60 minutes in length, and runs all year except major public holidays, like Anzac Day etc.

It was great, full on, but most enjoyable. It was good that I could have 2 "passengers" friends come along and be in the cockpit as I was flying. A great birthday present.
-
I appreciated the customer service from the start, follow up and the event itself
-
It was easy, well organized and thoroughly enjoyable, would use RedBallon again.
-
For someone with an interest in flying it was a great experience. No interest in flying would have lessened the impact of the experience.
-
Not much more to say but Excellent experience. I want a simulator for Xmas.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE
-
I am an experienced flight simmer on my home computer but the realism of the Perth Simulator was amazing. I flew 2 challenging airports and was able to share the experience with a friend also on board. The whole experience was very professional right down to the boarding call and a departures screen in the departure lounge!! I would highly recommend this to any aviation enthusiast.

Great experience. Gives you a whole new perspective and appreciation of what a commercial jet pilot goes through.
-
This was one of the most enjoyable experience i have had. The pilot was very informative and heplful we will definitely be doing this again with a group from our social club
-
Awesome. Simply awesome. Wanted to do that all my life and done it now. Will try the single engine landing at Kai Tak next time but left engine out!!!!

At first I didn't expect to find such professionalism both in the front office and then in the cockpit of the Boeing 737 aircraft, I have enjoyed hang gliding and small aircraft tandem flights previously and this experience though different was certainly on a par with them. The realism was quite uncanny but at the same time exciting and educational. I would certainly recommend it as a wonderful experience to anyone who would like it either for themselves or as a memorable gift.
-
The entire process from purchase of the experience by my daughters for my birthday, right until the final moment of the Simulator was straightforward, easy to finalise, and with a fantastic experience.
-
Was a fantastic experience. Well worth it and recommended.

It was a great experience and a lot of fun. Sureth the instructor was very patient and explained everything very carefully. My wife Cathy who sat behind us also raved about it and commented that at last she has got to go to New York (although I probably won't be able to go to La Guardia airport again after accidentally wiping out a couple of towers etc) We will definitely recommend the experience to any of our friends.
