Take a flying lesson in Bathurst or Albury! Fly a light plane over the beautiful Aussie landscape. Harness your inner Kingsford Smith and learn, how to climb, turn, descend and land an aeroplane! Take in unparalleled views of this wonderful part of NSW. This is the day your dreams come true!

Your experience begins when you arrive at the airport. The smell of the aviation gas and meeting your instructor brings it home... you're about to fly!!

Undertake your pre-flight briefing, including safety and a run-down of how to operate the aircraft. Of course the plane is fitted with dual controls, so you can get the full flying experience with optimum safety.

Jump into the pilot's seat with the instructor beside you. Get used to the controls before heading out onto the taxiway. Assist the pilot in the take off and fly like a bird! Once in the air, you can do as much or as little flying as you like - cameras are welcome! There is a designated flying region, but if there's somewhere nearby you'd particularly like to fly, we'll try to make it happen.

How exciting is the landing? With your instructor assisting, you'll land the plane yourself! Taxi back to the hangar, ask questions and pat yourself on the back... you just landed an aeroplane!!

This flying lesson is an experience you couldn't possibly forget - don't wait to take the experience of a lifetime!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

This experience is run out both Bathurst Airport and Albury Airport.

Session Length

Your experience, including flight time and a short briefing, is an hour. The experience is available in daylight hours by appointment, 362 days a year!

Guidelines:

This experience has only a height minimum of 5ft and weight maximum of 120kg.

Numbers:

One on one - the only way to fly!

Weather:

Obviously this experience is affected by high wind, lightning, low cloud and low visibility. Light rain is ok. If the experience does need to be rescheduled, there is no cost and we'll work around you!

Suitability Information:

Anything is possible! Just let us know in advance. Extra costs may be incurred if something like a chairlift is needed.

    Although I got somewhat ill (McDonalds breakfast beforehand is not advised) it was an amazing experience. Erik instilled confidence and was friendly, funny and informative. I would definitely go a second time, and recommend to others.

    It was a very hands on experience. No licence or theory testing necessary just a brief check over of the aircraft and we were on our way.

    Awesome! Who knew I could fly?? I was initially nervous, but my instructor was calm, cool and relaxed, and handed over the reigns in no time. By the time I landed (yes, I landed the plane!) I was on a massive high. If you've ever thought of flying, give it a go!
