Main Description

Realise your dream and take to the skies in a Microlight, you will be under full instruction while you take the controls and experience the wonder of flight while taking in the scenery of the Lower Lakes and winery regions of Langhorne Creek. Microlights or "trikes" are 2 seat open cockpit aircraft sometimes described as the motor bikes of the skies where you will feel and experience flight like never before!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Strathalbyn, One hour’s drive south east of Adelaide

Session Length

The experience a 15 minute briefing and 30 minutes in the air.

Guidelines:

Minimum age is 10 year and max weight is 110kg.

Numbers:

You will be one one one with your instructor.

Spectators:

Spectators can watch you takeoff and land.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date. Please call us on the day prior to your flight to confirm your booking.

Other Info:

Hours count towards flying instruction should you choose to continue on with lessons, you will need to sign an indemnity form prior to your flight

    I was a little bit uncertain but, once strapped in and in the air, I had the one of the best experiences of my life. It was a wonderful experience and I felt "as safe as houses". No problems at all - very, very enjoyable.

    My First time up in an Ultralight. It was the best experience of my life The Instructor Gerry was Absolutely Fan Bloody Tastic. If anyone was going to get me into this Fun Flying Game. It would be this man Backed up by the team at Strathalbyn SA The experience was out of this world.

    Very good. A great flight. I recommend it. Don't do it if you have a fear of flying. Can be a bit unnerving (i.e. scary) - but you'd expect that.

    My Aunt from the UK booked this for my 10 yr old sons birthday, he absolutely loved it! It was the best gift a 10 yr old could have, he loved it so much I will be booking him another one for his next birthday. The instructor was fantastic, they both wore helmets with ear phones and a microphone so they could talk to each other, they flew over Mount Barker and back to Strathalbyn. We came all the way from Leigh Creek and stayed the night in Strathalbyn spending the day looking through all the bea...
