Fly over Lake Cootharaba and the beautiful Noosa North Shore en-route to Lagoona Bay in the vintage Piper Cub. You will take the controls under the expert guidiness of one of our instructors as you soar over the glorious Noosa North Shore.

Main Description

Fly in the most renowned training aircraft from the 1930’s and 1940’s. The beautiful Piper cub is the ideal training and viewing platform to undertake this adventure in.

Have the doors open and experience the wind in the wires and the rush of air on your face as you manipulate the controls of this wonderful aircraft.

Your instructional flight will encompass a thorough briefing, detailed walk-around, and you will take in the wonderful panorama of the Sunshine Coast.

Come and avail yourself with one of our trial instructional flights and test our aircraft, instructors and location.

Venue:

Located at the Gympie Airport. 30 minute drive north of Noosa on QLD’s Sunshine Coast. Approximately 2 hours drive north of Brisbane and 15 minutes south of Gympie township.

Session Length

The entire experience lasts 70 minutes. This encompasses a 50 minute flight and 20 minutes of briefing time.

Guidelines:

Maximum weight is 100kg. Minimum age is 16 years. Reasonable mobility is necessary to access the cockpit.

Numbers:

You will be one on one with your instructor.

Spectators:

Spectators can view the takeoff and landing.

Weather:

In the event of poor weather the flight will be rescheduled.
