Take to the sky for a birds-eye view of the stunning Sunshine Coast on a private helicopter scenic flight for up to 3 people with your experienced pilot. Delight in the contrasts of the patchwork cane fields, winding rivers and golden beaches.

On arrival you will be greeted by your pilot who will give you a safety briefing before taking you out to your private helicopter and taking to the sky. As you climb up away from the airport the beautiful Sunshine Coast opens out below you. Gaze out to the hills of the hinterland as you head south over the Maroochy River. Look down upon the canal estates and million-dollar homes at Mooloolaba before rounding the Pt Cartwright Lighthouse. Soar low back north along the coast’s best known beaches of Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore while watching the surfers and beach goers before passing Twin Waters Resort on the way back in to the airport. A fantastic way to experience the thrill of helicopter flight with family or friends whilst capturing the essence of the Sunshine Coast!

Venue:

Sunshine Coast Airport, Queensland – just over the river from Maroochydore.

Session Length

Flights are generally available 7 days, subject to weather and aircraft availability. Please ensure that you book a couple of days in advance. The flight takes approximately 15 minutes but can vary slightly depending on weather and air traffic. Allow at least 30 minutes for the entire experiecne.

Guidelines:

Perfect for anyone with a love for flying! Weight restrictions apply: maximum individual passenger weight is 130kg; combined passenger weight must not exceed 270kg. If unsure please contact us to confirm.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for up to three people, subject to weight restrictions. You will be with your pilot on the day.

Spectators:

Family and friends are welcome to come to watch and take photos as you depart on your flight. We have tea/coffee facilities and an indoor/outdoor waiting area.

Weather:

This experience is affected by the weather. In the case of poor conditions, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Other Info:

Don't forget to bring your camera for some truly magnificent photos! We will also be happy to take photos of you with the helicopter to help commemorate your flight. You will be provided with a full safety briefing and be required to sign a liability waiver prior to your flight.
