Ever wanted to see Cairns from a completely different point of view? Our experienced pilot will take you on the scenic flight of a lifetime as you fly over Cairns and the surrounding areas for 20 minutes. Take in the stunning views from the CBD to the tablelands in a helicopter!

Upon arrival at the airfield, you will be greeted by your pilot and be given a brief safety run-down prior to your flight.

During this 20 minute scenic flight, you'll explore ancient rainforest covered mountainsides and valleys only minutes from the centre of Cairns. You'll view world heritage listed rainforest, Cairns City and surrounds from the air. You'll fly over Cairns, Barron Gorge, Kuranda and the Cairns Northern Beaches region.

Only by helicopter can the scale of these ancient rainforests and their pristine beauty be truly understood!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

This experience includes a 20 minute scenic flight for 1 person. Prior to the flight there is a 30 minute pre-flight brief. Please allow 40-50 minutes in total for the experience. Flights operate daily (weather permitting) and subject to availability.

Guidelines:

Weight restrictions apply - you must weigh less than 110kg. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the flight.

Numbers:

We operate with a maximum of 6 people on the flight. The price quoted is for 1 person.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome to watch your flight take-off and land.

Weather:

The flight may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make the conditions dangerous. Please call us if in any doubt. Any cancelled experiences will be rescheduled for a later date.

    RedBalloon staff were very helpful with regard to ensuring my gift voucher was valid as long as possible and Provider was very obliging when bad weather conditions delayed the original booking as well as providing a fantastic flight over Cairns, Barron Gorge and northern beaches with professional flying ensuring lots of great photograph opportunities.
