Combine a gentle scenic flight, fine food and wine on this spectacular experience. The helicopter is exclusive to you, landing right on the front lawn of one of the Hunter’s best hat rated restaurants. You will be greeted with a cold glass of champagne before enjoying a unforgettable 3 course meal.

Main Description
On the day of your experience you will arrive at the pre-arranged meeting point and be greeted by your friendly pilot for your exclusive helicopter tour. Our pilot will happily offer to use your camera to take photo’s of you both by the helicopter throughout the day.
Once on board the helicopter, you will be given your very own headset so that you can freely chat with the pilot and each other during the flight. The helicopter then gently lifts off and you are taken on an amazing scenic flight over the magnificent Hunter Valley Vineyards, flanked by the awe-inspiring Brokenback mountain ranges. You will then glide like superstars right onto the front lawn of the restaurant, only a few steps away from the Maitre d’ who will be waiting to greet you with a cold glass of champagne.
After your leisurely meal you have the opportunity to spend some time chatting to the wine experts and sampling the award winning wines at the winery. You can even extend your adventure by meandering across to another separate winery located nearby. We can then pick you up from either place to continue your helicopter tour back home again.
Our helicopter pilots specialize in calm and gentle flying techniques, which relax even the most apprehensive of passengers. We will be focused on only you for your entire tour, and pride ourselves on the one to one service that we offer.

Venue:
Located in Hunter Valley - approximately two hours drive north of Sydney. The helicopter departs from Cessnock Airport. Alternatively you can arrange helicopter pick up and drop off directly from your accommodation.
Session Length
This experience is available every Thursday, Firday, Saturday and Sunday. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Please allow three hours for this experience. The duration of your scenic flight will be 20 minutes.
Guidelines:
There is a maximum weight limit 136 kg per person. You must be 18 years of age or over to consume alcohol during this experience.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for two people. The helicopter can carry up to three passengers.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome to take photos and wave to you as the helicopter takes off!
Weather:
Flights will be postponed due to extreme weather conditions.

the experience was amazing the flight great the food was exceptional (roberts restaurant) the only flaw was there was no glass of champayne on arrival and flight could of been a bit longer

The experience was great but I would have loved a little more time flying over the hunter. I may have gotten the impression that the pickup after the restaurant then entailed a 20 min sightseeing flight over the valley. Not sure if it really was 20 mins in total to and from the restaurant but I do stress we enjoyed the experience anyway.

The whole trip was a great experience. Debs, our pilot was really friendly and fun, the meal was beautiful - with great service - and the scenery from the helicopter was amazing. It was such a lovely wedding present from my work colleagues - we felt very spoilt.

Our Helicpoter Pilot Deb was very informative and friendly, our pick up pilot was also great. Our meal at Bimbadgen was great , service very friendly and we will definetely return there again. My sister and I had a fantastic Sunday Afternoon.

The whole thing was excellent. The helicopter company was very helpful in arranging a time to pick us up in the morning and very flexible as to when we would like to be picked up afterwards, even recommending that we wander over to some other wineries first and calling when we were ready, rather than expecting a set meeting time. Made the day very relaxing. The restaurant was great as well.
