Hot Air Balloon Rides over Melbourne are a breathtaking way to see the town! Depending on the wind at dawn, your ballooning adventure may take you over the CBD, inner suburbs, parks and gardens, with Port Phillip Bay creating the perfect backdrop as you discover this gorgeous city from the air!
Your hot air ballooning flight over Melbourne starts when we either meet at your hotel or at the meeting location before first light. You will be advised of the exact time and place the evening before your flight.
Your pilot will give you a short briefing and you will be transported to the launch site, where you may help with the launch or stand back and take pictures.
Then away we go, drifting gently over the city of Melbourne in our beautiful balloon. Your flight will last for approximately one hour.
Afterwards, we make our final landing, pack the balloon away and invite you to join us for a traditional champagne breakfast (additional cost of $25pp) at the Hilton hotel.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length
Allow approximately four hours in total, from check-in to the champagne breakfast celebration. The flight itself is one hour.
Guidelines:
Minimum fitness level required. Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket and stand for the hour's flight. You need to inform us if you have a medical condition that may preclude you from flying e.g. a back problem. We do not fly ladies who are more than 12 weeks pregnant.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of four and a maximum of ten people in the basket during your flight.
Weather:
In the case of windy, wet miserable weather the flight is cancelled at the pilot's discretion. Flights are usually confirmed the night before.
Other Info:
Bring a hat and your camera as there are some fantastic photo opportunities. The champagne breakfast is not included in the price.
Suitability Information:
This experience is suitable for people with a sensory impairment only. You must be independently mobile in case of emergency.
Cancellation Policy:
You will lose the full cost of your flight if you fail to show up for your flight. You may send someone else in your place if you wish - please let us know the name of the replacement person before the flight. * Within 48 hours prior: No changes are permitted - passengers are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforseen circumstances including being unwell to fly due to illness. Under no circumstances will flights be refunded or re-scheduled if passengers cancel or do not show up on the day. * Between 48 hours and 7 days prior: A non-refundable $50 per person rebooking fee will be charged directly payable to the supplier; weekday flights will need to be re-scheduled on a weekday flight only, excluding public holidays. * Bookings cancelled up to 7 days prior to a flight date cannot be refunded. * Accommodation and Wine tour packages are non-refundable and should the flight be cancelled due to inclement weather this does not apply.

Fantastic experience! Had an amazing time and think everyone should experience ballooning, too bad most won't get the chance because of the cost. We showed our photos from our experience to lots of friends and family and they were all jumping at the idea of doing it too, until they heard the cost.- Lucky we got ours as a present.

The staff were very professional, with a focus on safety. We didn't have to wait around for very long, we were up in the air before we knew it. I was pleased there were photos taken during the flight, and the opportunity to purchase a CD afterwards. I'd love to go again.

An amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anybody. Service was extremely professional and made the event feel really special and comfortable.

The people were friendly, professional and helpful. The only suggestion I would make is to strongly recommend that passengers bring a hat to keep the heat off their head if they are near the flame.

My wife and i had a ball. It was our first time in a balloon and loved it. Our pilot Nick was great and got some great pictures we were able to purchase after the flight. The breakfast at the Hilton was excellent. Left after breakfast and felt it was good money spent.

I loved the fact that we set off just one street from my work and that I was able to fly over friend's houses. Thanks to the North Westerly.

I had an absolutely wonderful time and enjoyed every moment of my first Hot Air Balloon experience over Melbourne. It was fantastic to float so gently over so many of Melbourne's landmarks and enjoy the city and its best features from above. I could see for miles! Everything looked so peaceful and organised...so different from the chaos of city traffic at peak time on the roads!!!!!!!!!!! From meeting the pilots and bus drivers at the Hilton at 5.15am , to the preparation, the hot air balloo...I had an absolutely wonderful time and enjoyed every moment of my first Hot Air Balloon experience over Melbourne. It was fantastic to float so gently over so many of Melbourne's landmarks and enjoy the city and its best features from above. I could see for miles! Everything looked so peaceful and organised...so different from the chaos of city traffic at peak time on the roads!!!!!!!!!!! From meeting the pilots and bus drivers at the Hilton at 5.15am , to the preparation, the hot air balloon ride, the packing up and return to the Hilton for the Champagne breakfast around 9am, I cannot suggest anything you could do better. Staff were welcoming, friendly, organised and experienced.
