Come fly over Cairns and surrounds in the hot air ballooning capital of the world. Enjoy a 60 minute balloon flight and experience floating in your own balloon festival!
Enjoy the sensation of flight as you float over the picturesque Atherton Tablelands landscape at sunrise.
You will arrive at your launch site to see the first of many impressive views of the morning as your balloon inflates and takes shape. There are great photo opportunities, as the size of the balloons always impress.

Venue:
Atherton Tablelands, QLD. We can arrange complimentary transfers from Cairns, and Palm Cove.
Session Length
Please allow approximately 5-6 hours for this experience, this includes return transfers and a 60 minute balloon flight. We will collect you at 5am and travel to the launch site. You will be returned to your original pick-up point at approximately 10am. Flight times are approximate only.
Guidelines:
You should stand a minimum of 1.4m in height. You must be able to climb into the basket, unassisted and stand for flight. Anyone who has a medical condition that may preclude them from flying must advise us at the time of booking. We cannot fly pregnant persons.

It is something we have been wanting to do for a very long time, it was everything and more than what we expected. the pilot was great, as were the ground crew, not for one instant did I fell nervous (and I don't like open heights!) The views were spectacular! We ended up with more than the hour ride which was a bonus!!! We won a big RedBalloon Voucher, this is the first experience, one more to come!

The experience was all that we had hoped it would be. We were in awe of the whole experience, from the pick up from our accommodation at 4.30am to the informative guide talk from the bus driver who took us to the launch area. The Balloon pilot then gave us safety instructions, loaded into our basket, then lift off. Wonderful experience.
