Experience an unforgettable scenic flight and cruise exploring Tasmania's South West National Park. You'll see some of the most remote areas that Tasmania has to offer. From icons such as Federation Peak, the Western Arthur Range, to Port Davey Marine reserve and the rugged South Coast!

Your scenic flight to South West Tasmania takes you via the City of Hobart, past the Wellington Ranges to the fertile Huon Valley and then on to the Hartz Mountain National Park.

Once past the Picton Valley, you enter the South West World Heritage National Park, where you will witness some of the world renowned icons of Tasmania's pristine wilderness such as amazing Federation Peak and the rugged Western Arthur Range. After crossing Australia's newest marine reserve, Bathurst Harbour you will land at Melaleuca, deep in the heart of the South West of Tasmania.

Then it's off for a boat ride to Bathurst Harbour, visiting Clayton's Cove for a walk in the rainforest. After morning tea we will visit the untouched Celery Top Island's. These Heritage significant islands have been cut off since the end of the last ice age.

Lunch will be served at our wilderness camp, where we give you a taste of Tasmania's world renowned fine cuisine in a spectacular rainforest atmosphere.

During the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to visit a bird hide where you will hopefully see the rare and endangered Orange Bellied Parrots. It is estimated that only two hundred of these rare birds remain in the wild. We also take a stroll through the garden of the late Denny King, visit his gallery and see his home.

Your flight back to Hobart is via the coastal route, which encompasses a flight through Cox Bight, past the Ironbound Range, Precipitous Bluff, South East Cape (the southern most tip of Australia) and then we fly up the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and past Bruny Island back to Cambridge.

The scenic flight was my favourite experience I had in Tasmania. Stewart, our pilot, was absolutely excellent and made the flight, our landing at Melaleuca, and out boat Cruise to Bathurst harbour very entertaining and informative. The food provided was top notch as well! :) The experience was simply breathtaking, and i would definitely recommend it to others. A must-do Tasmania experience for sure! :)
