This luxury cottage accommodation was the first bluestone residence built on the Ballarat Goldfields and is the only one still standing and classified by the National Trust. Today the cottage stands transformed into a private escape where you can treat yourself to a few days of sheer luxury and utter indulgence.

This self contained cottage includes a queen size bedroom with ensuite and claw foot bath, where you can soak after a hard day exploring what the region has to offer. Whilst it maintains its historic character, it still includes all the modern touches to ensure your stay is comfortable, with its sitting room with gas log fire, air conditioner, internet connection and a kitchen / breakfast room with espresso machine.

Enjoy your full, gourmet breakfast (provisions are on hand for you to prepare at your leisure) in the kitchen or head to the outdoor courtyard for some fresh air and catch up on the daily newspaper. Included in the breakfast basket are cereals, freshly baked bread, omelettes with your choice of fillings, freshly squeezed juice, 12 varieties of espresso coffee, specialty teas and chocolates – this is sure to start your day off well!
