Visit this delightful property for a country retreat that will see you sleeping peacefully. The self-contained cottage is set on 200 acres of prime farmland in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by delightful farm animals, including llamas, and gorgeous lavender gardens! Treat yourself to a night away.

When you arrive, you'll meet your hosts who will show you to your accommodation. The self-contained cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, television, CD/DVD and gas BBQ. Your hosts will leave you to settle in with a selection of hand made chocolates and a bottle of local wine!

If time permits, you can help your hosts feed the resident animals or, if you prefer, take a walk. The property consists of 200 acres of farmland and boasts some spectacular views.

Spend your evening relaxing in the comfort of the cottage and making use of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare yourself a delicious evening meal (dinner is not included so you will have to bring your own ingredients).

The next morning you arise early to help feed the animals between 7.30am - 8am. You then enjoy a leisurely breakfast in our farm cafe before going on a tour to see the rare-breed farm animals and llamas coming back through the property's Heritage Gardens which include plantings of French lavenders and Heritage roses alongside a large variety of Heritage vegetables and fruit trees.

Finally we return to our shop to show you the products we make on site and our distillation unit where we distill the lavender flowers. You also get to try our gourmet food range which is made from home grown ingredients rom the property's Heritage Gardens.

After all that fresh country air you will be revitalised, refreshed and ready to take on life!

Venue:

Wallarobba, NSW - at the foothills of Barrington Tops in the Hunter Valley, approximately three hours north of the Sydney CBD.

Session Length

We are open seven days a week, excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. You will be staying at the lavender farm for one night. Check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 10am the following day.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. The cottage can accommodate up to eight guests, should you wish to book with friends. Children are welcome for an additional $40 per child, including breakfast. This additional fee is to be paid to the supplier direct.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

In the case of bad weather we may alter your itinerary however if you are happy to participate we are happy to host.

Other Info:

The cottage is fully self-contained and breakfast is included in the price, but you will need to bring some food for dinner.

    We had a great stay at the farm - the weather for August was 24 degrees on sat - how lucky - the mix of amazing animals made it special - the lavender scones were fantastic - thanks jean - a great farm stay - our son loved feeding the animals on the farm tour on sunday morning - it was very worthwhile - will recommend to friends !

    The farm cottage stay was terrific and Denise an excellent host. It was also our first experience with RedBalloon and we think it's a great gift idea and will definitely be recommending it. It's also just a great idea for treats for yourself. We would never have found this accommodation online by ourselves as we wouldn't have thought to look for something in this area. It was a great surprise and the entire process was very easy. Thanks.
