This warm and welcoming winery sits in the heart of the Macedon Ranges wine country. Leave the city behind and unwind with this intimate and peaceful overnight winery escape for two. There's dinner included & a full country breakfast too! Ideal for a romantic weekend for two.

You'll be spoilt for choice with this overnight getaway. You may choose to visit some of the natural attractions nearby such as the Hanging Rock, enjoy some local wine from the boutique wineries in the area, or perhaps you'd prefer to visit the nearby quaint country towns such as Woodend & Kyneton. Do a little, or a lot.. the choice is yours.
Please note: This experience is available for Saturday night stays only. Due to the popularity of this experience, Saturday nights book out well in advance. Please allow for at least 12 weeks for a Saturday night. If you have a date in mind please contact us on 1300 87 55 00 and we can check availability for you.

Less than 40 minutes drive from Melbourne CBD, and only about 30 minutes drive from Tullamarine Airport.
Session Length
This is an overnight experience for 2 people valid on for Saturday night bookings only. Check-in at 2pm and check-out 12pm. Three course dinner is held on premises. Bar opens for pre-dinner drinks at 5.30pm.

There was a buzzing noise in the wall which didn't stop especially through the night and disturbed our sleep. Everything else was great...the wine tasting, dinner, scenery, breakfast and staff.

Service was fantastic, Dinner & Breakfast was wonderful. We have stayed in many places around the world and this is the first time we have had to pay for a cappuccino at breakfast. Walls were very thin and could hear EVERYTHING! Besides that, a lovely stay, the property is beautiful, we went on a very nice walk. Thank you to the winery for making us feel very welcome.

We thought the whole experience was excellent. The accommodation was very good with the room being very clean and quite spacious. The staff were excellent and very friendly whilst the food at dinner and breakfast was fantastic. We could not recommend this experience more highly.

RedBalloon was very supportive and non judgemental about swapping the original voucher of snorkelling. Winery was peaceful, food restaurant quality and rooms very spacious and modern. A very pleasant experience all round.

Everything was lovely except the weather! The only thing that I would have liked was some wine glasses in the bedrooms and a jug of cold water in the fridge.

The only problem we had was our bed was made up of 2 king singles zipped together, so in the middle were they joined was uncomfortable.

A very nice place to stay, dinner was exceptional. I would have thought that there would have been some refreshments/ snacks in the fridge otherwise a very pleasant weekend.

It was a great place to visit and stay. The room was more that adequate and the staff were great to deal with and very help full. The only thing that I think would be beneficial to the hotel would be a mini bar in the room. I made a dash to the serves station for refreshments before we were able to have our meal. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The Winery at Lancefield was an absolute delight. Beautiful accommodation, the meals and service were excellent, ideal for that weekend getaway.

The inclusions were excellent however it was not added that drinks at dinner were not included. The venue was exceptional for service and cleanliness as well as food. I do however recommend that you be wary of the condition of your back before sleeping there. The bed was incredibly firm.

It was a great "mini holiday", accommodation and meals were good. The highlight was the anunual Lancefield Show on Sunday 17 October. We bought local produce and enjoyed the day

Very efficient service all round. Needed to change my requested dates and had no difficulty speaking directly to the Winery. The lady there (Jan) was very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was lovely, as was the evening meal. Lots of other "RedBallooners" there too as we found out chatting to other guests.Thank you all for such an enjoyable (but all too short) experience.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend. The wine, food, restaurant and service was fabulous. Also the facilities were great. One thing that could be improved upon - the wine tasting room needs to be bigger. It was too crowded and hard to move.

Room (in Harvest wing) was quite new, bright and comfortable. The facilities/amenities in the complex were well appointed - lounge/common room with billiard table, tea/coffee, large screen TV. The grounds were also well tended. Dinner was very good - small choice of menu but food was well prepared and tastefully presented. Breakfast was also quite good - self serve - eat all you want from cereals through to sausages in a tomato sauce, poached egges, bacon, etc. The only small complaint I have...Room (in Harvest wing) was quite new, bright and comfortable. The facilities/amenities in the complex were well appointed - lounge/common room with billiard table, tea/coffee, large screen TV. The grounds were also well tended. Dinner was very good - small choice of menu but food was well prepared and tastefully presented. Breakfast was also quite good - self serve - eat all you want from cereals through to sausages in a tomato sauce, poached egges, bacon, etc. The only small complaint I have is that there was not quite enough parking. A few cars had to park on either side of the access road to the carpark.

All was great, thank you - views are breathtaking, food, facilities, room and esp service are second to none- the kitchen staff were very kind to bring our dessert up to our room because my husband wasn't feeling the best. He was fine this morning. It was a gift from our sons and their wives for our 30th Wedding Anniversary, so glad they went through RedBalloon and they know how much we love the country and especially the Wineries. Really enjoyed the overnight experience. Did book the extra for brunch but the breakfast was excellent and after dinner the previous evening, we could not fit any more food in so was wasted.

Food and wine was great. Property was ok, missing a bit of atmosphere, had the opportunity of beautiful view but built in the wrong spot altogether. Rooms should have been facing the coutryside with the beautiful vineyards.

We had a lovely night away at this winery. The wine was lovely the food at dinner was delicious and the breakfast the next day was sensational - omlettes made to order, pancakes and then from 11.30 onwards gourmet pizzas. The accommodation was also lovely, very clean and comfy and everything you need for a lovely night away. It was exactly what we needed.

Pleasant surrounds, clean comfortable room, not overly flash but fine, tasted good wines, very good dinner and breakfast. only complaint there were conferences running which meant that the lounge areas were booked for the conference groups and not available for us to use. We would go back there again if the opportunity arises

We were given this a a gift and loved every part of the stay. The venue was fantastic the restaurant for dinner was superb as was the beautiful breakfast. I came away feeling I had been away for a week and it was only 1 night. I will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends.
