Follow in the footsteps of history on this classic traverse of Papua New Guinea (PNG). One of the great treks of the world, the Kokoda Track crosses the Owen Stanley Range. A journey through Australian history, the Kokoda Track stretches 96 kilometres through what is arguably some of the most rugged and wild jungle in the world.

We trek across the geographical heart of PNG following trails from the tropical rainforests to the rarefied climes of the ranges. At night, we stay in secluded jungle camps and share experiences with the traditional villagers in some of the most remote regions of PNG. It takes ten days to cover the 96km trail and this journey offers tremendous rewards and a feeling of accomplishment as we complete the final stages from the highlands to the township of Kokoda. This trek is one that you can feel proud to say you've completed; as a mark of respect to Australian wartime history, and of course, as a physical challenge.

The Kokoda Track guided trek will follow the following itinerary:

• Day 1 – Meet at Port Moresby,
• Day 2 to 10 – Drive to trail head, commence Kokoda Track trek,
• Day 11 – Complete trek, transfer to Popondetta,
• Day 12 – Travel to Buna,
• Day 13 – Drive to Popondetta, fly to Port Moresby (additional cost payable),
• Day 14 – Trip concludes in Port Moresby.

The 14 day trip includes a 10 day trek, accommodation in rest houses or camping (share basis) while on the track and 2 nights hotel accommodation, 13 breakfasts, 11 lunches and 10 dinners, airport transfers on day 1 and day 14, expert track guide, medical kit, expedition services including assistants and group catering gear, private transportation (N.B. Flight not included), sightseeing, development fund contribution for local communities, track fees, radio communication equipment.
