Imagine the excitement of flying off to an unknown destination for two nights. Where you go is a mystery, what you do when you get there is entirely up to you. Get ready to be surprised!

Mystery flights are the best way to travel, hassle-free! You don’t have to choose where to go and you have the thrill of not knowing until you get there. You choose your travel date (weekday or weekend), and your flight times are chosen with one of the major airlines (Virgin Blue, Jetstar or Qantas). You will receive your itinerary 2-3 days prior to departure. Your transfers are pre-arranged at your destination and you have been booked into a 4star hotel! All you have to do is have fun when you get there!

Mystery flights depart from the major airports in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. With your 2 night package stay, you will fly to one of 18 possible destinations which includes accommodation and transfers. Each destination offers its own attractions and activities. While you will be provided with some tourist information regarding your destination in your itinerary, you are under no obligation to do or visit anything particular. What you choose to do is entirely up to you.

  • City pairing is dependant of current flight schedules and length of time at destination.
  • You are able to nominate one destination you do not wish to be flown to, and for repeat travellers we make every effort not to send you to the same place twice.
  • Possible destinations: Adelaide, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Hobart, Melbourne, Townsville, Ballina/Byron Bay, Capricorn Coast, Fraser Coast, Launceston, Sunshine Coast, Whitsunday Coast, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Mackay, Newcastle/Hunter Valley, Sydney.

Please note: While every effort is made to accommodate all requested dates, due to the popularity of this experience it is recommended that your requested travel dates be at least 4 - 6 weeks in advance.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

This experience is for 2 nights. Your flight is a 'mystery' and will depart between 6am and 12pm on your chosen date. Your return flight will be between12pm and 10pm. Available all year round, subject to availability with 14 days notice.

    Fabulous experience. Everything ran like clockwork. Accommodation was first class. Brochures provided were very informative and allowed us to organise a couple of short tours, have a special dinner and enjoy the surrounds.

    It was great that the flights allowed for maximum time at the destination but the hotel room it self could be a little better. The hotel is listed as 4.5 star as it has alot of additions (pools, restaurants and day spa) but the room itself was very basic. In the future it may be better to get a top room at a 3.5 star hotel rather than the lowest room at a 4.5 star hotel. Enjoyed the experience.

    We had a wonderful weekend all the literature arrived when expected, the Hotel we stayed at in Adelaide (Hotel Grand Chancellor) was very nice and well located, all Hotel transfers were on time. The total hassle was taken out of our weekend, all we had to do was turn up. I also had to change my booking, due to a death in the family and both RedBalloon and the supplier, could not have been more accommodating. Thank you.

    I would like to thank you for a wonderful trip to Adelaide. The worry was taken out of everything. The accommodation was excellent and the location was central. I would highly recommend the Mystery Flights.
