Artisan baking is a principle that follows the traditions of age-old baking techniques and the importance of using the healthiest, natural ingredients where possible. Perfecting pastry is an art and science in itself, steeped in the traditions of artisan baking.

Learn how to roll and fill your own pastry in this class and the importance of healthy ingredient selection. In this workshop, you will be making a range of classic recipe favourites such as brownies and friands, along with sweet and savoury shortcrust pastry tarts. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and a pastry platter while your hand-made delicacies bake in our ovens. Drink in the aroma of freshly baked pastries, tarts and cakes that you have made as you head home after the class and impress your family and friends with your pastry and patisserie production skills you take home from the workshop.

    I really loved it (despite big difficulties getting there through peakhour traffic from the north side of Sydney). The whole experience felt "generous" - very informative trainer, great ingredients, lovely dinner, interesting tour of the bakery and our choice of breads from the shop to take home. My only difficulty now is that both my daughters want to go and do a cooking class too - and I have to go back and learn how to make bread! Have already recommended it to many of my friends.

    Both my daughter and myself attended the Artisan Pastry, tarts and Cakes evening, we both not only enjoyed the class but also learnt a lot about making beautiful pastry. Our Host and Teacher Matt made the experience wonderful.

    The course was absolutely amazing. I learnt so much. The teacher was great easy to get on with and learn from. Cooked a lot of great stuff that tasted great. Enjoyed the whole thing. LOVED IT!!
