If you love food and cooking then this pasta cooking class in Sydney is perfect for you! You’ll learn all about pasta, cook a delicious meal and take home some new and exciting recipe ideas. This pasta cooking class is a great way to gain confidence in the kitchen and master a new style of cuisine!

Pasta is one of the staples of our diet. There are heaps of different recipes that you can cook with pasta so it should never be boring! Pasta is a quick and easy food to prepare and very satisfying to eat. Come and learn more about cooking with pasta!

When you arrive for your cooking class you will be offered a refreshment. You’ll then be given a short orientation and safety brief.

Your talented pasta chef then demonstrates the courses that you will be cooking and answers any questions that you have. Are you ready to start? You’ll then break into pairs and prepare your meal under the guidance of the chef.

On the menu:

  • Turkish Bread on arrival
  • Fresh ravioli filled with Roast Pumpkin, Persian Fetta, Garlic and Lemon Thyme, with a Sage Burnt Butter Sauce
  • Handmade Linguini with Sautéed Cauliflower, Chilli, Kalamatta Olives and Parsley
  • Tomato, Basil and Baby Bocconcini Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

As well as cooking loads of delicious recipes, you’ll learn the theory behind pasta and get some great cooking tips. Ever wondered what the difference between dried and fresh pasta is? You’ll learn all about it during this pasta cooking class. You’ll even learn how easy it is to make pasta from scratch!

When you’ve finished cooking you’ll sit down with your new friends and eat the yummy food you’ve created.

After completing this cooking class you’ll know more about preparing, cooking, presenting and eating pasta! You will go home knowing how to make good food, inexpensively and with minimum effort. You’ll also now know many of the shortcuts that professional chefs use when cooking, in order to produce great results quickly – a special bonus for people on the go!

All students receive a CD that has all the recipes, notes and lots of other information so you can show off at home!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

This experience will operate from Annandale and Engadine, Sydney. You will be asked to state if you have a preference when you book.

Session Length

The lesson is 3 hours starting at 10.00am-1.00pm. This experience mostly operates on Saturdays, runs for 3 hours and is subject to availability.

Guidelines:

Any changes to a booking up to 5 days before a class will incur a $20 administration fee (GST included). No changes (apart from attendee name), can be made to a booking less than 5 days before a class.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a maximum of 16 students per cooking class. During the class you will be cooking in pairs.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

This experience is not affected by the weather.

Other Info:

This experience is not suitable for people under 18 years of age. There are rare occasions when the minimum class number isn't reached. In this instance you will be given the chance to reschedule for a later date, or offered the opportunity to participate in one of our other great classes.

Cancellation Policy:

Apart from attendee name, any changes to a booking will incur a $25 administration fee (GST included).

    The Pasta Class was great fun - Brendan and Kevin kept it light-hearted whilst teaching us some of the tricks of the trade. I will definitely be putting my new-found pasta making skills into practice! A great day out.
