Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale Winery Tour
This Adelaide Hills wine tour will take you into two of the most picturesque wine regions of South Australia! This wine tour provides a unique opportunity to sample a comprehensive range of local wines, taste excellent regional foods and experience some behind the scenes activities!
On the day of your winery tour, you will be collected from your accommodation before setting off for a full day in the picturesque wine regions of McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills. Our first stop is at Blessed Cheese in McLaren Vale for morning tea.
Following morning tea, the first winery we visit is Fox Creek Winery and their state of the art winemaking facility. Whilst there, you’ll embark on a premium wine tasting experience in their quaint cellar door.
We next visit The Olive Grove where we sample olives, olive oils and also their range of Lloyd Bros wines on offer.
From there, we head to Woodstock Winery & Coterie as this is our venue for a delectable 2-course lunch which includes their delicious regional platter and soup (in winter) or dessert (in summer). Enjoy more wine tasting at the cellar door and this gives you plenty of opportunity to purchase a wine to enjoy with lunch or a case to take home to enjoy!
As we continue, we arrive at Hugo Wines. This is a family owned vineyard producing quality wines and is our last stop in McLaren Vale before heading into the Adelaide Hills.
As we travel into the Adelaide Hills, our first stop is Petaluma Winery, where you’ll indulge in a little more wine tasting in their magnificent stone building which is the home of the Bridgewater Mill.
Our final winery of the day is Arranmore Vineyard. Here you will arrive for an exclusive wine tasting, including a barrel tasting and talk with the owner / winemaker.
Following the completion of the winery tour, we travel back to Adelaide.

We will certainly use Red Balloon again, and would recommend to all our friends.

It was a terrific day we went to wineries we hadn't been to before and all of them were good. Lunch location was great and the morning tea stop was also a good location. Barry had a good sense of humour and had some good knowledge of Adelaide that we didn't know about.

We had a fantastic day. The tour was the best value tour we have ever been on. The tour guide, Hannah was extremely personable, knowledgeable and a credit to her company. Morning tea and lunch provisions were more than ample and of very high quality. We would definitely recommend both RedBalloon and this tour to our friends, family and visitors to SA.

A wonderful day was had by all. Thank you Barry for being a great guide and being so knowledgeable in the history of Adelaide. All the wineries gave us different information regarding the making of wine from crushing the grapes to the growing of vines. Very informative. Loved every thing about the tour. Thank you.
