Discover why Penfolds Grange is one of the most famous wines in the world on this exclusive Penfolds Grange Tour. Delight in the sensory experience of your tutured tastings in a private cellar served together with cheese platters. Perfect for a lover of wine or the budding connoisseur.
Your Penfolds Great Grange Tour will unveil the stories behind Dr Penfolds life, as you discover the original family home - Grange Cottage. You will then go onto exploring the 60 year old Shiraz vines, underground tunnels and cellars of the historical working winery.
It is then, that you will step into your very own exclusive cellar, decadently set up for your tutured tasting led by a Penfolds Wine Educator. The experience includes the tastings of six Penfolds Super Premium wines, including the iconic Grange, all accompanied by platters of the best regional cheeses.
To complete the tour you will be invited to taste a barrel sample of Penfolds 20 Year Old Bluestone Tawny.

Session Length
This experience is available the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 1pm, or on request with a minimum of 5 people. The experience lasts 2.5 - 3 hours. Please book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Please arrive for your tour 10 minutes prior to tour departure at 12:50pm.
Guidelines:
Due to safety regulations this experience is not suitable for children under 5 years. Wine tastings are only available if you are 18 years and over.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. Group sizes vary with an average of 5-10 people. Maximum capacity for the Penfolds Grange Tour is experience is 30 people.
Spectators:
This experience is not suitable for spectators.
Weather:
A very small component is conducted outdoors, as such, the experience continues in most weather conditions. If in doubt please contact the supplier.

I found the tour guide, Kirsty to be very knowledgeable and informative about Penfolds, and in particular the wines we tasted. The tasting was the highlight of the tour, being able to try The Grange for the first time, was a first.
