Wine Tasting and Lunch in the stunning Yarra Valley is an award-winning visit to top vineyards and includes entertaining presentations and a superb winery restaurant lunch with wine. During your Yarra Valley winery tour you'll also visit the home of Australia's number one bubbly, Domaine Chandon!
Your full day Yarra Valley wine tour includes:
9am -10am: You meet at one of the pick-up points in Melbourne.
10am: You’ll depart the final pick-up point for the Yarra Valley, arriving at your first winery in about one hour.
11am: Yering Station Vineyards - Yering Station is one of Australia's most spectacular wineries. We'll start the winery tour by showing you how to swirl, sniff and slurp and then you’ll be ready to taste some of Yering Station’s award-winning benchmark classic wines.
12pm: Rochford’s - Rochford's have long been the benchmark for style and class in the Yarra Valley and the wines also live up to this reputation. The first half hour will be spent at the wine tasting table, a great opportunity to make a wine selection for lunch! Then it's into the restaurant for a superb lunch while taking in magnificent vineyard views. Lunch includes main meal, a glass of Rochford’s wine and tea or coffee.
1.40pm: Yering Farm - The old hay shed situated at the top of the hill has been converted into a charming rustic cellar door, just oozing with character. It is a fantastic environment to enjoy superb wines made with traditional winemaking techniques.
2.15pm: Domaine Chandon - French Champagne company Moet & Chandon's Australian production house is the perfect way to finish the winery tour, with a guided tour through the winery that shows how the wine is made. This is followed by a relaxing glass of Australia's best bubbly with light tasting platters and a view that will leave you in awe. Spectacular, to say the least.
3.30pm: Leave Yarra Valley for Melbourne
4.30pm-5pm - Return.

PLEASE NOTE: Service of alcohol may be refused to persons deemed intoxicated. Persons causing a nuisance to other passengers may be removed from the wine tour. We are not liable for any expense incurred should this occur.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Venue:
This experience departs a variey of convenient Melbourne pickup points. Selected locations on the Maroondah Highway are also available! Pick ups are also available on request from selected locations on Maroondah Highway from Nunawading to Lilydale.
Session Length
Tours depart Melbourne city at approximately 10am (after pick ups) and return back to Melbourne city between 4:30pm – 5:00pm depending on traffic. The Yarra Valley Wine Tour is available 362 days a year, only excluding December 25-26 and January 1.
Guidelines:
Passengers must be able to prove age over 18 years for the consumption of alcohol. There will be no refunds for passengers who fail to be at designated pick ups at designated times. Alcohol may not be consumed on vehicles. 48 hours notice required to reschedule date.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. We take group bookings at a maximum of seven people. There may be more than one small group on the bus, but the tour is designed for the groups to operate independently.
Weather:
We operate no matter what the weather. If it’s nice weather we spend time outside and if it is raining or cold we remain indoors at the wineries.
Other Info:
We have a comprehensive child policy which needs to be understood and agreed to if you are wishing to bring a child on board or purchase a child ticket. You MUST phone at least 24 hours prior to your tour departure date to confirm your pick up time. 48 hours notice required to reschedule.

We had a lovely day. Our bus driver Brett was really nice and very knowledgeable.. All the winery staff were very pleasant and most accommodating and the Yarra Valley is such a beautiful place.

I bought this on the Thursday before Mothers Day. I was able to book in the tour on the spot with RedBalloon and had an amazing day. My mum loved this and it was very reasonably priced as a yummo lunch was involved also. I would recommend this to everyone! Thank again

Having the Yarra Valley just about at our back door we didn't realised what we were missing out on, the whole day was excellent the weather was on our side, we were picked up on time the bus driver Brett was very knowledgeable telling us about the history of the area and his knowledge on the wines and the wine making was very impressive. We enjoyed the whole experience and thank my son and daughter in law for the very thoughtful Christmas present.

We really enjoyed the day, only I thought the cheese plate was a little small! By that time of the day you need to eat a little more to balance the alcohol! Other than that I thought it was great.

Our bus driver Brett was a very friendly happy fellow who was full of knowledge of the Yarra Valley region. Having been a local to Melbourne all my life I was very surprised with the information that he told us about the city as we drove through. He made everybody feel welcome and included and was great with keeping everything flowing and on time. The lunch at Yering Station was lovely and we had beautiful weather to top the day off. It was very enjoyable and informative but would've liked a bit more time at the first 2 wineries and perhaps a chance to stop off to sample/buy locally grown fruit etc

Our tour guide, Sandy, was fantastic. Her knowledge, not only of the Yarra Valley but of the whole wine making process was exceptional.

It was great but maybe when coming back use a different route for scenery looks, but otherwise no complaints, it was great and so was Sandy the guide. She was terrific and couldn't of done anything to make the day go better. With the tours is it at all possible to go in and see the wines getting made? Years ago we went into a Mildura winery and had a tour of that and it was marvelous. Thanks any way for a great day.

Big props to guide Bill and his endless but timely wisecracks, and informative running commentary throughout the drive. Lunch was fantastic at Rochford, and especially enjoyed the rustic feel of Yering Farm. Domain Chandon was an amazing place visit too - and didn't taste a bad drop all day. Highly recommended!

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting tour, which was a gift from the family. The only negative point would be that we would like to have spent a lttle more time at each winery, but being a tour, we know you have a strict schedule. Our driver, Brett, was very informative; his knowledge & enthusiasm for his passion of wines, shone through. He also has great people skills & a sense of humour, which also added to our enjoyable day! Thanks RedBalloon!
