Want to go behind the scenes of Sydney's best aquarium? Bring a friend and come and experience one of our fantastic VIP guided tours led by a professional aquarist. You'll explore Australia's rich and diverse waterways, marine ecosystems and unique aquatic environments closer than ever before!

This is the ultimate VIP experience to get up close and personal with marine life.

Your tour guide will meet and greet you and give you a general overview of the Sydney Aquarium and their role as an aquarist. Experience a detailed explanation of the platypus, crocodile, seals and touch pool; a behind the scenes look at the seal enclosures and shark tanks; a special look at the Great Barrier Reef exhibit where you have the opportunity to see how live coral is grown and look at the holding and breeding tanks.

To conclude the tour, you are able to feed the sharks, rays and all the tropical fish from above the Great Barrier Reef tank.

VIP Tour timings are between 9:00am and 4:30pm and usually last approx 90 minutes. Bookings are essential (48 Hours minimum notice). Bookings must be made at least 48hrs prior to the scheduled tour.

Guidelines:

Please meet the aquarist at the admissions desk prior to your tour.
