Valleys and waterfalls, trails and wildlife... what could be more interesting, yet relaxing! This tour is low-impact walking. Just bring along your lunch and some water, and meander your way around a spectacular part of the world. On your path you'll discover Strangler Figs, Helmholtzia Lily and Bangalow Palms... just to name a few.

Time to settle down for lunch at the beautiful plunge pool of Minyon Falls. Gaze up the hundred-metre waterfall, and experience freshwater unlike anywhere else in the world. Minyon Falls are a part of the southern rim of the Tweed caldera (caldera meaning area formed from volcanic activity!) At certain times of the day the valley can have pockets of mist and with the vegetation it gives it a magical feel.

Session Length

This experience is a wonderful, full day, run about five times a week. It begins around 12 and lasts approximately 5 hours.

Guidelines:

This experience is suitable for all ages. Only a moderate level of fitness is required for a fair distance of easy walking.
