Crocodiles and cruising - this is Cairns! Tropical North Queensland's best attractions are at their best in this one package. Take a cruise up Trinity Inlet, then visit the crocodiles (or vice versa). You'll travel through sugar-cane fields, witness amazing waterbirds and the prehistoric crocs!

You'll depart Cairns on a 14-metre catamaran, a relaxing and comfortable air-conditioned vessel. There is so much to see on this cruise that we've brought on a marine biologist to satisfy all your curiosities - and there will be heaps! As you travel down the river, you'll see all sorts of habitats and fascinating bird life. See Jabiru and all sorts of other species unique to beautiful Cairns.

On this lovely cruise, you'll be welcome to coffee or tea and cake - you'll be left wanting nothing!

Well down the inlet, you'll trade in the catamaran for an air-conditioned coach. Through the cane-fields you'll travel to a huge crocdile farm. An experienced and friendly tour guide will show you around as you unravel the mysteries of the amazing crocodiles.

For your own comfort, for tides and for crocodile activity, this experience is run either cruise then crocs or crocs then cruise. Both ways are great!

Venue:

This experience departs the Reef Fleet Terminal, Cairns. Coach transfers are available free of charge!

Session Length

This experience runs for 3 hours, twice daily. Choose either the 9.30am-12.30pm or the 1.30pm-4.30pm option. The cruises are run Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (until May) and then Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (June to December).

Guidelines:

Children 14 or under need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

Weather:

Cruises will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions, but being an inlet cruise, normal sea conditions are rarely a problem.

Other Info:

Bring along a hat and sunscreen. Some cash or a card are a good idea for any more drinks, snacks or souvenirs you may desire.

Suitability Information:

This experience is lovely for everyone. If you travel in a wheelchair, we just need you to be accompanied. We can't use motorised wheelchairs but we do have manual ones available.
