Moving up into the Mountains we see the area’s most famous sights and views (like the Three Sisters), but we keep away from the crowds at small, secluded lookouts where you can experience the solitude and immensity. Lunch is enjoyed in the stunning bush setting of Wentworth Falls, with vast sweeping views over the Jamison Valley from the clifftop retreat of The Conservation Hut.

In the afternoon look for native Australian animals in their natural setting in the fertile grounds of an extinct volcano in Blue Mountains National Park.
