Take a Daintree Tour in comfort! This Daintree Full Day tour lets you explore the Daintree Rainforest's biggest attractions in affordable convenience. Picked up from your Port Douglas accommodation, this Daintree Tour visits Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge, AND includes a sumptuous picnic lunch!

After being being picked up from your Port Douglas accommodation in a very comfortable LandCruiser vehicle, your small group will start with a short stroll in the magnificent Mossman Gorge. Get a taste for the rainforest - that smell, and all that incredibly soothing wildlife sounds.

Moving onto the Daintree River, you'll cross on the car ferry to Cape Tribulation, perhaps the most famous area in the Daintree National Park. Take a load off as you enjoy morning tea in Australian paradise. Walk along Cape Tribulation beach. Wander up the Kulki Track and enjoy the spectacular view over the beach, rainforest and inshore reefs.

Enjoy lunch in the rainforest with a variety of meats, salads, smoked salmon, cheese, breads and fruits.

You'll enjoy a fascinating walk after lunch at either Dubujji or Jindalba, then take a river cruise for wildlife watching. Spot crocodiles, birds and animal life which all live together in the estuary.

All walks are lightly narrated so you can appreciate exactly what you're seeing, including the amazing wildlife and flora, a lot of which is found only in Far North Queensland and the Port Douglas region.

After your beautiful day out you'll visit the Daintree Ice Cream Company for a refreshing tropical delight made on the premises before being returned to your resort around 4.30. It's hard to imagine a more well-rounded and fascinating way to see the Daintree.

This Daintree Tour takes you to the best and brightest areas of the Daintree, and includes transfers from Port Douglas.

Session Length

You will be picked up at approximately 7.30am and returned by 4.30pm. The tour operates every day of the year except Christmas Day.

Guidelines:

This experience is not suitable for children under the age of 4.

Numbers:

There are a minimum of 4 in a group and maximum of 6.

Weather:

Umbrellas are provided in the wet season. Around once a year, a tour will need to be cancelled because of road closure, but that's the only reason it couldn't go ahead.
