Race around the Sydney CBD! Using over 100 checkpoints plotted into a handheld GPS, this is your opportunity to battle other teams to complete as many checkpoints as possible and take out first prize. An exhilarating and fun day out that will be sure to get the mind racing and legs pumping!

Your team of 2 will start and finish from a designated CBD location where you will receive a team lanyard and starting pack before the starting whistle sounds and in a flurry of excitement you set off!

Each team will navigate their way to each checkpoint, where they must either complete a task or gather information to score points. As the timer draws to an end, the team with the most points wins the race and takes home the prize.

The top 10 teams throughout the year are invited to come back and play in the annual Race Around the CBD Grand Final for big prizes!

Session Length

The experience runs for 3 hours in total including a 30 minute briefing to begin and 30 minute presentation to conclude. It runs on selected Saturdays every month, from 9am to 12pm.

Guidelines:

A general level of health and fitness is required as you will be on your feet and moving around for the duration of the activity. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Numbers:

The event will be hosted by one experience manager. Each team will consist of 2 people, and each race will have a minimum of 2 teams and a maximum of 40 teams competing.

Spectators:

Due to the nature of the race, the activity is not spectator friendly however friends and relatives are welcome at the finish for the presentation.

Weather:

In the event of rain guests will be offered disposable ponchos at the start of the race. Only in extreme weather conditions will the race be cancelled; guests will be offered a place on an alternative date. If the event is cancelled, information will be sent in an email confirming the cancellation.
