Full Day Melbourne Sport Tour
Sports lovers will go batty over this full day sport tour, visiting venues that play host to some of Australia's favourite sporting events. We get the ball rolling with a visit to Flemington, then run along to the Rod Laver Arena and MCG, and end the match with a visit to the National Sports Museum!
On the morning of your tour you will explore a range of sporting venues, including Flemington, home of the Melbourne Cup, the horse race that stops the nation! We'll drive through the Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village and around Albert Park on the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit.
We then pay a visit to the Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne & Olympic Parks, one of the world's busiest sports and entertainment precincts. Enjoy an insiders' view as you are taken through Australian Open tournament control, the change room used by the world's best tennis players, the Walk of fame, up to the superboxes and VIP hospitality areas, inside the media centre theatrette and, events permitting, into the arena!
We then stop for lunch, which you enjoy while overlooking the arena at Etihad Stadium (formerly known as the Telstra Dome).
After lunch we tour behind the scenes of the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The MCG is a super stage for Australian sport, a stadium for the 1956 Olympics, Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, International Cricket and Australian Rules Football. Highlights of the tour include the Northern Stand, coaches' box, players' change rooms, cricket viewing room, Long Room, Bill Lawry Cricket Centre, aerial views, the new MCG Museum, the Ponsford Stand and a walk on the hallowed turf (all subject to availability).
And finally we visit the National Sports Museum, featuring more than 2500 sporting artefacts and extensive multimedia displays and showcasing the great moments in Australia's sporting history. Also included is the MCG story and an extensive interactive area for kids of all ages. More than just a museum, the National Sports Museum captures the spirit of Australian sporting life and relives the moments that have shaped Australia's rich sporting traditions!

Reviews
- Pick-up and drop-off at Southern Cross station was excellent seeing we had trained it down from Ballarat. Simon, our coach driver and guide, was excellent as were all the Guides at the various venues. All in in all it was a great days outing.
- Simon our guide was fantastic. Would recommend.
- -Staff were quite friendly -Good to go behind the scenes of major sporting arenas and events
- It was a fun day, I really enjoyed everything, the driver/guide on the day was very friendly and welcoming and provided a good time for the two of us on the tour. I particularly enjoyed the MCG tour and museum. At the end of the tour the tour guide dropped me back at the MCG to have a further look at the museum as I hadn't looked at everything when we were there earlier in the day.
