The BBQ team building cooking challenge is sure to bring your group together in a mouth-watering cooking event! Your group will prepare a 4 course meal for the entire group simply by using the humble BBQ and in a fun and informative environment. Get ready to make your team sizzle!

Get ready to treat your team to a fun and challenging cooking game that is simple and very effective in highlighting the benefits of teamwork, co-operation and negotiation in the workplace!

Upon your group’s arrival at our venue, you’ll be met by our experienced chefs and given a brief introduction to the process of the cooking event.

Your chef will demonstrate the courses to be cooked and then it’s your teams turn to try to recreate the meal. The strategic goal is to produce for the group a three course meal on the BBQ, ready for the group to enjoy all at the same time. Team members will need to work together to achieve the tasks, where communication is key to the success! There is even a tutorial on how to select the perfect wines to match their BBQ creations.

At the conclusion of the cooking challenge, all team members can share their success by enjoying their creations together. Throughout the cooking class challenge, points will be awarded the teams and at the conclusion of the event prizes will be awarded.

This team event offers an opportunity for employees to engage in a competitive exercise whilst gaining great skills in a fun learning and team focused environment!

Venue:

Centennial Park - Sydney, Waverley Bowling Club - Sydney, Willoughby Hotel - North Sydney, The Wharf Hotel – Melbourne and Ashgrove Golf Club – Brisbane.

Session Length

This experience is available for bookings from Monday to Friday, subject to availability. Start times are flexible, however, we recommend a start time of 11.30am – 12.00pm for a lunch experience or 1pm – 1.30pm for a twilight session. Please allow approximately 3 hours for the experience.

Guidelines:

This experience is suitable for almost everyone, however, participants will need to be able-bodied. No prior cooking experience is necessary.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for 20 people. We can cater for groups from 20 - 500. Please contact us for further details and pricing for larger groups and the additional event options.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

The weather does not affect this experience, however, in colder weather we strongly recommend bringing warmer clothing and this will ensure a more comfortable session.

We can accommodate your corporate group with our range of set menus in selected food groups such as BBQ Meat, BBQ Seafood and BBQ Vegetables, Skewers and Desserts. We are also more than happy to put together a menu to suit your occasion.
