Choose to fish with the best in the West! Expert or novice fisherman, be treated like a king on this deep sea fishing charter whilst we provide everything for you on the day from a unique location in the Dawesville channel.

Your deep sea fishing experience begins with an early morning start and a cup of tea or coffee to enliven the senses before we head out for a full day of deep sea fishing in a special location. We will then escort you aboard the vessel for a safety briefing and a light breakfast.

After the light breakfast, bit of fruit and a warm drink, the skipper will begin to head out towards the ocean. It takes approximately two hours to reach a preferred fishing ground and along the way, you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a pod of local dolphins or even the odd whale!

After we reach the fishing location, experienced crew members will provide you with instructions on how to use the rods, reels and bait. Before you know it, your deep sea fishing experience has begun!

A day of fishing excitement unfolds as various species of fish come on board. Some of these may include the famous Western Australian dhufish, pink snapper, red snapper, break sea cod and many more!

Throughout the day, you’ll be offered great snacks and we keep a large esky full of cool drinks and cooled water for you to enjoy – simply help yourself!

After your day of fishing, we fulfil your appetite with chicken, salad & rolls to enjoy on your way home.

During the day, all of your fish are tagged with your name, kept on ice and handed to you at the end of the day to show-off your catch and enjoy for dinner!

Fishing Season: Available 16th December - 1 April. Operate on a daily basis.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Mandurah, WA – approximately 60 minutes south of Perth.

Session Length

We operate on a daily basis, 16th December - 1April. Weekends are always busy and we recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance. We depart at 6.30am and ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure. We return to the marina between 3.30 – 5pm depending on the conditions on the day.

Guidelines:

If children are attending they must be over 10 years of age and accompanied by a paying adult. To participate in this experience, you should be reasonably fit and have no prior injuries that would be compromised by participating on the trip.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 people. Should minimum numbers not be met, we reserve the right to reschedule your experience for a later date. Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice will result in the forfeit of your experience.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome onboard for a fee of $120 (payable directly to the supplier). This fee includes all food and drinks. However, spectators are limited to 2 people per charter, so early bookings are essential.

Weather:

In the case of poor weather, we reserve the right to cancel the trip (at our discretion) and reschedule for later date. We recommend that you telephone us after 4pm the day prior to your charter day, for a weather update and trip confirmation.

Blue Lightning is a 16.75m conquest deep sea fishing vessel with a 5.5m beam. She was custom built for charter fishing, offering an extremely comfortable trip with a spacious deck. Please Note: Cancellations with less than 12 hrs notice will result in the forfeiture of your voucher.

    The deep sea fishing experience was great well looked after good food great fishing and very experienced operators and will definatly be going out on their charters again in the future.

    Probably I expected the meals to be better. Breakfast should be better than Hungry Jacks bacon and egg muffins, lunch was good but maybe ready made sandwiches would be better for the clients on board. none the less, these are just a few picky ideas as the day was great.
