Gather a group of four mates and head off for a fishing trip on the magnificent Port Phillip Bay. During your fishing expedition you and your friends will have the opportunity to hook a snapper, giant flathead, squid, elephant fish or shark. Cast your line. The fish are all just a nibble away!

Your fishing vessel is located an easy five minute walk from St Kilda. Upon arrival you will be given a full safety and security brief prior to the vessel leaving port.

Our boats have marine toilet facilities, a large customer ice box, sound system, plus fish-finding and GPS equipment to make your fishing day more successful. Your skipper takes real pride in his extraordinary knowledge and passion for fishing, life at sea and the environment.

Your trip will include:

A half day fishing charter on Port Phillip Bay, leaving from St Kilda Pier
Easy-to-use spinning reels and equipment
A light morning tea
A sausage sizzle
Your catch cleaned up and bagged, ready for you to take home
Fully licensed or BYO alcohol

IMPORTANT: You MUST have a fishing licence. Licences are valid for 48 hours at a cost of $5.50 per person and are available online for purchase from the following web address - http://www.dpi.vic.gov.au/dpi/index.htm. They are also available at most Shell service stations.

The skipper reserves the right to cancel or cut short a trip if he is concerned about safety. If required, please contact us for the full Terms and Conditions of this experience.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

St Kilda Pier, Melbourne - approximately 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Session Length

Fishing trips are available Sep - Dec with a 10:30am start, or Jan - May with either a 6am or 11:30am start. All fishing trips are 5 hours in duration. Bookings should be made 14 days in advance. We request that you arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time. No fishing through winter ( Jun - Aug).

Guidelines:

You must be over seven years of age. You need to inform us if you have diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, or other pre-existing medical conditions or if you are on medication. Not suitable during pregnancy or for those deemed at increased health risk. We have the right of refusal.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for four people. There will be a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 16 passengers on board. Please note: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation. A no show on the day or late cancellation will result in a forfeit of your voucher booking.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

All trips are subject to weather conditions. We will SMS you between 4.30pm and 6pm the night before to confirm the weather forecast for your fishing day. We reserve the right to cancel trips at short notice and reschedule for a later date.

Other Info:

You will be required to sign a liability release form prior to departure. The vessel has full facilities on board. Alcohol is permitted in the form of canned beer only and with a limit of four cans per person.
