Join us for a kayak tour around Adelaide and discover shipwrecks in the Ship's Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail and meander through the mangrove lined channels around Garden Island. If you're lucky, you might even spot some of the resident dolphins on this tour.
Explore Adelaide’s own dolphin sanctuary and shipwreck heritage trail around Garden Island by kayak.
We will take you through wonderful mangrove lined creeks and see a wealth of bird life and sea creatures along with shipwrecks. There are over 25 shipwrecks scattered around this area. Some were grand sailing ships others were tugs or barges each with its own unique history including one of the very first iron built ships in the world.
This half day trip is ideal for families and people who just want to relax and soak up the heritage this area has to offer. The lush forest of Grey Mangroves provides a haven for extensive bird and sea life.
Located only 25 minutes from Adelaide CBD at Garden Island it makes it easy access for a day which is out of the ordinary.
Tours run from Spring to late Autumn and are conducted in double sea kayaks, which are easy to paddle, stable and very comfortable.

As inexperienced kayakers we had a fantastic guide, great equipment and a great experience. Good as the port river gets!

We had such an awesome time. Unfortunately the rest of the people booked didn't show up - they missed out! BUT we got Jason as our guide all to ourselves. Saw quite a few dolphins and Jason had some really excellent information about the ships. He was also an excellent instructor as we had never kayaked! We have already recommended the tour to friends and family and cant wait to get our photos back! Thanks guys!! AWESOME!!!

Fantastic guide. Seemed like it took forever on hold on the phone on numerous occasions to actually get it organised but the tour itself was fantastic. Thank you.

To actually contact someone to confirm outing was a lot more complicated than it should have been. Once on the water everything was fantastic.

Very enjoyable experience and the guide was very friendly and full of information about the Dolphins and shipwrecks.

I was the most inexperienced of our group and rolled my kayak twice Such a patient, pleasant and good humoured professional was Jamie that we all felt safe very well informed and enjoyed every minute of the trip

It could hardly have been any better. A clear and sunny 15°C and perfectly calm waters. A gentle breeze every now and again. The mangroves are the nursery to the multitude of fishes that inhabit Gulf St Vincent and there are millions of fingerlings darting everywhere just below the surface, The waters are so clear
