This Kiteboarding course consists of 1 x 60 mins and 2 x 120 mins private lessons on St Kilda Beach and is Australia's most popular comprehensive kiteboarding training program. The aim is that you leave feeling fully competent in the amazing sport of kiteboarding - and who better to do it with than one of St Kilda's top businesses? These guys are fully qualified International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) recognised instructors and the only school in Victoria to be branded with IKO affiliation - this is a real education!

Part One 60 mins On-Beach

80% of kiteboarding is kite control, so training before you get out on the water is very important. Be introduced to the technical side - the equipment and different kinds of kites, the wind window, setup, launching, landing, kiteboarding etiquette - and the rest!

Part Two 120 mins Shallow Water Lesson

This session is designed to help you gain the confidence you need to be hooked into the kite, use the safety systems and gain the skills of self-rescue in the water.

Part Three 120 mins - Board Rider

By now you have the skills to setup your own equipment on the beach and relaunch your full-sized kite in the water with confidence! Take on the big blue yourself and step it up - turns, board control, tricks for staying up in the wind and much more.
