Join us for a 2.5 hour sailing adventure on Sydney Harbour as you hoist the sails on an actual America's Cup racing yacht for the ultimate sailing. Either kick back and relax on the deck or join the crew by manning the grinders, trimming the sails or testing your skills at the helm!
AUS21 or AUS40 is a must for sailing enthusiasts and perfect for anyone looking for a fun and adventurous way to explore Sydney Harbour.
On the day of your Sydney Harbour sailing experience, you’ll be welcomed onboard the yacht in Darling Harbour and a safety briefing will be presented by our professional sailing crew. Before long, the sails are hoisted and it’s time to set sail from underneath the stunning Harbour Bridge and onwards towards Manly, past some of the most famous landmarks in the world! Glide past the famous Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge and watch the city skyline fade in the distance as we power our way around magnificent Sydney Harbour.
Guided by our professional crew, you are welcome to participate in the sailing as much or as little as you wish and best of all, no prior experience is necessary! Anyone can do it!
There will be plenty of photo opportunities so feel free to bring along your camera – after all, this may be the closest you’ll ever get to racing in the America's Cup!

Venue:
Darling Harbour, NSW – approximately 5 minutes from the Sydney CBD.
Session Length
This experience is 2.5 hours in duration and is available everyday all year round, subject to availability and minimum numbers. We depart from Wharf 9, Darling Harbour at 1.00pm, returning at 3.30pm. Please check in 15 minutes prior to departure.
Guidelines:
No prior sailing experience is necessary and you are welcome to join in as much or as little as you like. You must be able to move freely and board the yacht with minimal assistance. Our small 4-member team of professional crew will instruct and assist you throughout the sailing.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one adult aged 16 years and over, for child prices please see product code KKB172. We operate with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 people. Should minimum numbers not be met, we reserve the right to reschedule your experience for a later date.
Weather:
We sail in most conditions including rain. In the event of extreme conditions such as thunder, lightening or storms, we reserve the right to cancel your experience and reschedule for a later date. If your experience is cancelled, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible.
Other Info:
You’ll be required to complete a waiver prior to participating in the experience. Sunscreen & non-alcoholic beverages are available free of charge onboard the yachts.
Cancellation Policy:
Bookings can be cancelled or postponed prior to 48 hours of departure time and will attract a $40.00 administration fee per person. No refunds are available for cancellations or postponements within 48 hours of departure time. No refund will be given to clients who do not show. In the unlikely event we cancel a trip due to extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our control an exchange will be given if an alternative date cannot be arranged.

Despite the appalling weather, torrential rain and gusts, the crew made this a wonderful and exhilarating experience, and we'd like to go again. Next time we will take a flask of whisky!

Sailing on the harbour was a wonderful experience. The crew members were great and we were fortunate to have a good strong breeze which allowed us to traverse a large area of the harbour as far as Manly. A highlight was the close-up spectacle of the start of a heat of the 18 footer championships in which we almost felt like one of the competitors. Our crew were great in allowing us the extra time to watch this event unfold. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

My 'Sailing Experience' was a 70th birthday gift from my grown-up family of three to me and my husband. We enjoyed the experience immensely and were fortunate to have an excellent day on which to sail, as the weather forecast had not been all that good and even today is much cooler and cloudy. The friendly crew were helpful and informative on the various aspects of sailing and we found the hands-on experience was great. - Still feel young enough to enjoy!
