Your exclusive America's Cup Challenge takes place on board Australia's only two actual America's Cup yachts, AUS21 & AUS40. These impressive 80ft racing yachts were designed and built for their respective America's Cup campaigns and have undergone very little change since they were raced.

The America's Cup is the world's oldest and most prestigious sporting trophy and ultimate yachting regatta. Usually the domain of billionaires and elite professional yachtsmen, this is your chance to race onboard these grand pix racing machines.

When your group arrives for the event you will be welcomed by the Sailing Sydney team and introduced to your skippers and crew! These sailors are some of the best in the business and will take your guests through a number of yacht racing safety elements during the pre-race briefings. Each yacht will be crewed by a five-man professional racing crew, at hand to instruct and assist your guests throughout the day.

Your group will be divided into two teams of up to 25 guests in each and, guided by our professional crew the teams will compete in a series of races and a final to decide the ultimate winners! This spectacular event provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for your guests to participate in a maxi yacht racing event and experience the power and thrill of maxi yachts on the spectacular Sydney Harbour.

Session Length

The Maxi Yacht Sailing Regatta is available seven days a week during daylight hours. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Your experience will go for approximately three hours. Please check in 20 minutes prior to departure.

Guidelines:

No prior sailing experience is necessary however guests should be physically able. Remember to bring your camera!

Numbers:

This is an exclusive group experience. The price quoted is for up to 50 participants, with a minimum of 20. We are able to accommodate up to 320 people with more yachts in a full day event - please contact us to inquire about the other options and prices available.

Spectators:

Guests may either participate or sit back and take in all the action. With larger groups, water taxis or an optional hospitality vessel can be included.

Weather:

If the crew decides the weather conditions are unsafe, it's easy to reschedule your event for another day.

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings can be cancelled or postponed prior to 48 hours of departure time and will attract a $40.00 administration fee per person. No refunds are available for cancellations or postponements within 48 hours of departure time. No refund will be given to clients who do not show. In the unlikely event we cancel a trip due to extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our control an exchange will be given if an alternative date cannot be arranged.
