It's the ultimate Whitsunday Family Day Trip - out to Knuckle Reef! 55 nautical miles off the coast of Australia, you'll enjoy a marine wonderland! The pontoon has a giant slide, air-conditioned areas, patrolled swimming and snorkelling, plus optional extras like scuba diving and snorkel safaris.
Cruise on board ‘Seaflight’, a 37m wave - piercer fitted with motion stabilizers. It is the Whitsundays’ premier day cruise vessel to Knuckle Reef, acclaimed as the region’s most spectacular Great Barrier Reef site. Explore the underwater wonderland and be held in awe by the magnificent corals and abundance of fish and other marine life.
The pontoon is the newest and most innovative design. There is undercover seating and tables, sun decks for topping up the tan, freshwater showers, change rooms and access to the air-conditioned comfort of ‘Seaflight’ alongside the pontoon.
It features Queensland’s largest and most spectacular underwater viewing chamber and and is the only one on the Great Barrier Reef with an awesome giant waterslide.
Morning and afternoon tea and a sumptuous buffet lunch are included, complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day as well as semi-submersible and glass-bottom boat rides.
A full range of activities is offered at extra cost, with snorkeling, intro and certified diving, massage, helicopter scenic flights and photos from the on-board photographer.

Session Length
This experience is a smashing full-day, from 8am to 5.30 or 6 - totalling around 9 hours.
Guidelines:
This experience is for two adults and up to 3 kids, the kids being between 5 and 15 years old.
Numbers:
The huge vessel to get to the reef operates with a minimum of 40 people and can carry a maximum of 320.
Weather:
Only gale force winds cancel this trip, and we will let you know as early as possible if that was looking to be the case. We'll reschedule for the most convenient time for you, at no cost of course!

Our day cruise to the pontoon at Knuckle Reef was perfect! We had the best day ever and will definitely be exploring more of The Great Barrier Reef in the future. Everything was fantastic - the boat was awesome, the food was delicious & plentiful and the the staff were friendly, helpful and fun. We did the guided snorkeling tour and the staff made us feel safe & comfortable out there on the beautiful reef with our 2 children, aged 10 & 5, who had never snorkeled before & had no problems thanks ...Our day cruise to the pontoon at Knuckle Reef was perfect! We had the best day ever and will definitely be exploring more of The Great Barrier Reef in the future.
