A Scuba Diving Introduction is the perfect way to get a glimpse into the world of Scuba in the safe hands of an experienced PADI Scuba Instructor. If you want to learn to dive or you just want to try something totally different, choose the Scuba Diving Introductory Day!

The Scuba Diving Intro really is the best way to try out diving. It takes about 5 hours and in that time we will familiarise you with the basics of Scuba and the operation of the equipment.

After being taught a few basics in the pool, you'll be transported to the open water (ocean)to experience the thrill of your first dive! This dive is conducted under tightly controlled guidelines with direct supervision of a PADI Instructor. It is guaranteed to tempt you into the world of Scuba and open your eyes to this exciting underwater world!

Please Note: Course dates vary depending on your location. This experience is available all year round, with courses typically available at least 4 times a week (exact course dates are dependent on your location). We are happy to advise you of the next available date at the time of booking.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

5 hours approximately, will vary from venue to venue. We are happy to advise you of the next available date for this experience at the time of booking.

Guidelines:

You must be at least 14 years of age; be able to swim 50 metres without aid; have a valid medical and enjoy a reasonable level of fitness.

Numbers:

This experience is for one person however there may be up to a maximum of 2 divers per instructor in the water.

Spectators:

Typically Scuba Introductory courses do not lend themselves to spectator viewing, however some venues will offer the chance for spectators to accompany students to the open water at a small additional cost (arranged direct at time of booking).

Weather:

Open water dives in the ocean are subject to the weather, we will always reserve the right to cancel dives if conditions are not appropriate for a student's level of experience. Alternate dates and or arrangements will be offered where possible to enable courses to be completed.

Other Info:

Our supplier prides itself on a safety record unmatched in the industry. You must not consume alcohol prior to diving. If concerned about prescriptive drugs prior to diving, please ask at time of booking. Instructors reserve the right to refuse participation to any one considered to be at risk.

    Very professional instructor and although I became slightly seasick during the dive, I did enjoy the new experience.

    The team were great, I had a fantastic afternoon and felt very comfortable through out the dive experience. It was a great introduction to Scuba Diving and will definitely pursue it.
