Thought diving with the Sharks was brave? Take it a step further with Shark Feed Xtreme! Shark Feed Xtreme provides you front row seats to view the sharks and fish being fed. From inside the tank, come face to face with the sharks, stingrays and turtles as they are hand fed by Oceanworld’s aquarists

Your experience will begin as you learn about these amazing animals from the safety of the tunnel, after which our expert instructors will brief you on the SCUBA equipment, skills and safety requirements. Before you enter the Oceanarium, you will learn how to breathe underwater with personalized tuition from our instructors. Once you are comfortable with the SCUBA equipment and breathing underwater, its time to meet the sharks!

During the first part of the dive, you will be at the heart of a fish feeding frenzy, with stingrays, turtles and some smaller sharks coming nice and close! Next it is time to watch as the sharks are fed. Moving into shark feeding territory, you'll be underwater and up close and personal with the sharks during their feeding session.

During the 40 minute dive, your safety is our number one priority. The instructors will do their best to capture some fabulous underwater photos while you're face to face with the sharks. Following the dive, warm up with a hot shower and debrief. Following this you'll have the opportunity to see the photos of your dive, which are available for you to purchase.

Session Length

This experience is approximately 3 hours, includes 40 minute Oceanarium dive during the feed. This product is available only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only.

Guidelines:

Minimum age is 14 years. Medical conditions that may stop you from taking part for your own safety: Asthma, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Chest Conditions incl. Pneumothorax, Sinus Conditions, Ear Problems, High or Low Blood Pressure, Pregnancy, or suspected pregnancy or other medical condition

Other Info:

Do not drink alcohol the night before your dive. Do not fly in an aircraft within 24 hours after your dive. Please read the full medical restrictions and consult a doctor for diving clearance if necessary.

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings for the Dive are essential. All divers must arrive to “check in” for their dive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Late arrival or non-attendance will result in non admittance to the Dive session. Missing your scheduled dive time is non-refundable. If you are sick and cannot make your session time we require notice and you will need to provide a medical certificate. Our Supplier reserves the right to cancel any dive session should they decide that participation in a Dive is unsafe, or for any other reason which is at the absolute discretion of Oceanworld Manly. Should a Dive not proceed, then Divers will be re-booked at the earliest possible time at the convenience of the Divers, taking into account available places. Vouchers are non-refundable however they are transferable. The supplier must be notified prior to any transfer.
