Shark Walker allows you to walk underwater, surrounded by sharks, giant stingrays and hundreds of fish, without getting even getting your hair wet!

Experience the thrill of an underwater dive in an aquarium, while breathing naturally, with a custom-made Shark Walker helmet. The 45 minute experience does not require a diving license and is perfect for the non-diver.

What's Included:

  • All equipment for the walk is provided - including wetsuit, gloves, boots, weight belt and Shark Walker helmet
  • Qualified divers to guide you on your experience
  • Introduction to Shark Walker theory session
  • Shark Walker experience in an aquarium

While our 2.2 million litre Oceanarium is home to a large variety of aquatic life, we cannot guarantee that participants will come into close contact with animals when participating in the Shark Walker activity.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Guidelines:

Height and Medical restrictions apply. Height and Medial restrictions apply. Medical forms to be completed and returned upon booking, in advance of participating in the experience. Minimum participant age is 15.

Numbers:

The customer will be with 1 other person during the experience plus 1 instructor.

Spectators:

Spectators can watch Shark Walker participates but will be required to purchase a general aquarium admission ticket to do so.

Other Info:

The 45 minute experience doesn’t require any previous dive experience or training, only bathers and a lot of courage!

Cancellation Policy:

Please note: Once your experience is confirmed, any amendments to the originally-scheduled date or time will be charged at the re-scheduling fee of $50.

    Fantastic experience, not frightened at all, felt very safe because a experienced diver was with us all the time and training session before dive very helpful and reassuring. Thanks for making it such a great day.

    From start to finish communication has been excellent. It's the first time I have used RedBalloon and would definetly recommend this. The shark walker experience was brilliant. The diver and the guy helping above were fanastic!!! Great guys and very calming and helpful.

    I gave this to my boyfriend for his 21st and he loved it! Only thing only one shark went past him at one time. A good experience for those that that want to swim with underwater creatures

    It was awesome! A pity the sharks decided to stay on the other side of the tank...however the stingrays, fish etc were amazing. Couldn't get the smile off my face.

    The experience was fantastic and even if you are not a very strong person in the water, there is nothing to worry about as you are well looked after and very safe. I only wish though that they took pictures of you under the water, they take photos of other people walking through the aquarium surely they could take a few pictures of the shark walkers or at least tell you no photos so photos of yourself can be taken before you get in the water. Otherwise an excellent experience, I would recommend ...

    I love RedBalloon....it's so easy to book and print vouchers. My Shark Walk Experience was amazing, it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Our instructors were very kind, fun and helpful, and I recommend this experience to everyone brave enough : )
