Children will be enchanted as they snorkel with sea dragons during this fascinating underwater tour of Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay. The weedy sea dragons that reside in this beautiful area are a sight to behold. Learn the basics of snorkelling then head out into the bay for an aquatic adventure!

We provide a personalised service with some of the most spectacular creatures to be discovered by visitors, including our famous weedy sea dragons and seahorses.

Venture into the underwater world and get a taste for snorkelling on this half day adventure experience. Your Snorkelling with Sea Dragons experience is broken up into three sessions.

Session 1 - Briefing on snorkel tour.

Session 2 - Equipment brief.

Session 3 - Head out for your snorkel tour. We take you on a guided eco-snorkel in Port Phillip Bay to visit our famous weedy sea dragon colony.

This operator has recently won the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Victorian State Tourism Award for Adventure Tourism and is listed in the Hall of Fame.

Venue:

Portsea, Victoria - approximately 90 minutes south of the Melbourne CBD.

Session Length

This is a half day experience. Sessions run daily at either 9.30am or 1.30pm, subject to availability.

Guidelines:

This experience is for children aged 7 - 13 years. It includes snorkelling instructions, equipment hire and a guided tour to the sea dragon colony. Children under 10 years of age may need their own wetsuit. Adult prices are available - please refer to product code BPL102.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one child aged 7 - 13 years. We operate with a minimum of two people. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, we will contact you to reschedule your experience for a later date.

Spectators:

Spectators can follow our trail as we are often snorkelling close to the pier.

Weather:

In the case of poor weather we will reschedule your experience for a later date.
