What's better than learning to surf? Learning to surf with a friend! With this private surfing lesson for two you and a friend will be one-on-one with your instructor, surfing in the waters off Byron Bay. The instructors are our surf school are dedicated to giving you an awesome surfing adventure!

On the day of your experience we will meet you at our shop in Byron Bay or pick you up from your accommodation in the local area. We then take you to one of Byron's many local beaches for your private surfing lesson!

Due to the constantly changing wind, swell and tides we choose to search for the best waves each day, just like real surfers! The beaches we surf at are a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Byron's main beaches. We always opt for the less crowded beaches around Byron Bay and Lennox Head so you can get the most out of your surfing lesson!

During your surfing lesson your instructor will be in the water with you, helping with correct paddling techniques, teaching you how to catch waves and how to turn, and talking about wave selection and understanding the elements of the ocean. We also teach surf safety and awareness.

Come and catch some waves, have a laugh and experience some of Australia's unspoiled coastline with this three-hour private surfing lesson for two!

Byron Bay, NSW.

Session Length

We operate seven days a week, all year round, excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Private lessons usually run from 8am - 11am.

Guidelines:

Participants must be able to swim at least 50m unassisted. Private surfing lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate surfers.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. You will both be with the surfing instructor during your private lesson.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome! They may come along in our mini surf bus if there is room or drive themselves to the location.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of extreme weather conditions or very big waves we may reschedule your experience for a later date.

Other Info:

You need to sign a waiver prior to participating in this experience. Wetsuits and rash guards will be provided, as will surfboards. We have easy-to-ride learner boards available for beginners.
